One day, a man was out for a walk in the wood with his young son. There are many lessons in life which can be passed from generation to generation, but rarely are. This father was wise, though, and wanted his boy to grow up intelligent, kind, and moral.
"There is a battle inside me," the father started. "Between two wolves."
His son's eyes lit up as he began to listen.
"One of these wolves embodies evil. Hatred, greed, arrogance, coldness, anger, hedonism, betrayal, cowardice, and fear... The other is benevolant. It is kind, calm, patient, courteous, generous, industrious, trustworthy, modest, and tolerant. These wolves are within everyone, and they are always fighting."
"...Which one will win, father?" The boy asked.
"The one you feed."
