This is something I have had in my head forever but I can not seem to get anyone to stick with a role-play long enough to get to it. I really want to build a whole role-play which will get me to the dramatic love/ action scene. It is Bleach but can be done with any of the pairing I have set out for it. I just love Renji so I have been mulling this over with him and an OC soul reaper.
I was watching season two again the other night and this little bit just hit me. I mean how amazing is it to have our lead female sacrifice herself to save our lead male. Even if they are not in love it is just awesome. I do not want to start here or use this exact example I just really want to be able to start a role-play which can eventually get to this point.
The world shook with Buyakuya’s spiritual pressure, the force of it brought Sakura to her knees. He was calling on his Bankai to defeat Renji. As Sakura watched the world went black and Buyakuya’s sword melted into the ground. All around him several large swords sprouted from the ground. As Buyakuya spoke his swords shattered and came for Renji.
“RENJI!” Sakura’s voice shattered the silent air around her. Somehow she found the strength to move. She found herself running forward throwing her own body before Renji’s. She could hear Renji’s voice screaming for her. She could feel his hands on her trying to push her out of the way trying to save her. Sakura could not bear to see Renji die. Her body went numb as the force of Buyakuya’s attack wracked through her. She felt herself falling back into Renji’s arms she felt the wet tears on her cheeks from both her own eyes and Renji’s. As she fell she saw Buyakuya’s face in shock by her own sacrifice for Renji.
Sakura’s world went black; the last thing she saw was Renji’s face as he held her in his lap. She could see that he was yelling for her but she could no longer hear him.

Renji held Sakura close for a few more minutes his eyes narrowing greatly as he sent his attention back to Buyakuya.
“You couldn’t have stoped it!” Renji’s voice was a wail as he cried out at Buyakuya who was now just standing there watching the scene play out. Renji shook her body leaning forward to listen for her breath. It was barely there and he knew she was dying; the fight would have to end soon if he was going to get her help. Ripping his shirt free he made a pillow for Sakura’s head and let her body lay on the ground. Once she was safely down Ranji stood to his feet anger swirling behind his eyes.
“You will pay for this Buyakuya… I am going to kill you!”
