Backstory:
Started off as the scattered collecting of Eldritch energy that slowly condensed, gained sentience, and formed into the Outer God, Shabbith-Ka. Grew his power through idle decimation of small planets and their systems, slowly realizing he craved more than just, simple, forceful domination. After watching the other Outer Gods he eventually decided to obtain the abilities that would make him revered as the ultimate entity (in his mind) an “Idol.” Achieving this goal pulled him further away from his kin but also inevitably solidified his domination style as one that worked not directly through him but his fans (aka his worshippers). At one point he caught wind of a rumor that some Outer Gods had settled on a planet and were having a fairly successful time bending the inhabitants to their will, and, deciding he needed another vacation home, found himself catching a comet over to Earth. While he’s still debating whether or not to bless Earth with the full extent of his fame, he’s enjoying his time acting as a patron for the select few he's given the honor of paying attention to. He does perceive the other Eldritch entities on Earth as threats and has been gathering intel on the side about them should he ever need to remind them who the true “Idol” is.
Description:
(Eldritch) a mass of purple energy that, when you stare hard enough at, can take on an almost humanoid form of glowing purple light. Spots of brighter light will reveal eye-like symbols throughout it, flaring much like camera flashes do. Fair warning, prolonged starring can cause madness!
(Between Eldritch & Human form) regardless of his surroundings the lighting of his features will change to suit whatever mood he’s in at the moment. Examples of this are looking like he’s in soft lighting when feeling relaxed, low key lighting when being dramatic, or backlighting when he’s particularly egotistical. All this lighting, is of course, purple in tone.
(Goo) in need to condense himself enough he can put on a human suit, his body essentially turns to the same style goo you see in lava lamps, moving in a similar sluggish fashion to molten lava. This is his weakest/most vulnerable form.
Abilities:
Offensive Abilities:
- Agonizing Blast: When you cast Eldritch Blast, add your Charisma modifier to the damage it deals on a hit.
- Hypnotic Pattern: You create a twisting pattern of colors that weaves through the air inside a 30-foot cube within range. The pattern appears for a moment and vanishes. Each creature in the area who sees the pattern must make a Wisdom saving throw.
- Mass Suggestion: You suggest a course of activity (limited to a sentence or two) and magically influence up to twelve creatures of your choice that you can see within range and that can hear and understand you. Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect. The suggestion must be worded in such a manner as to make the course of action sound reasonable. Asking the creature to stab itself, throw itself onto a spear, immolate itself, or do some other obviously harmful act automatically negates the effect of the spell.
Defensive Abilities:
- Ascendant Step: You can cast Levitate on yourself at will, without expending a spell slot or material components.
- Gaze of Two Minds: You can use your action to touch a willing humanoid and perceive through its senses until the end of your next turn. As long as the creature is on the same plane of existence as you, you can use your action on subsequent turns to maintain this connection, extending the duration until the end of your next turn. While perceiving through the other creature's senses, you benefit from any special senses possessed by that creature, and you are blinded and deafened to your own surroundings.
-Visions of Distant Realms: You can cast Arcane Eye at will, without expending a spell slot.
Passive Abilities:
- Eldritch Light: All exertion of his Eldritch power causes him to glow purple to some degree. Usually, his eyes are the first points of this glow with it flowing outward in almost starburst like patches across his skin. As his Eldritch form is pure, uncontained light/energy, it can fill a radius of 20ft before beginning to dim.
[Since he likes his human body so much he leaves it on Earth when traveling throughout the galaxy. This glowing self is also the form his fans know him best by]
