Though majority of people view this "cherished" day as a time to celebrate the birth of a the famous guy known as Jesus Christ, i definitely do not see it as that.. and I'm sure most could agree.
Christmas is really just a day where people become broke as hell, trying to buy the best that they can afford for all their loved ones. It's a day greed and selfishness play a big roll, as you hear bratty children cry, "Hey! Jimmie got more presents than i did!" or "Awww.. but i wanted the Ultimate 8000 Megatron train set for Christmas.....(' emo ')".
And during this time of year, some people try and pimp out their homes with tons of Christmas lights and the gayest decorations possible. The cheery chubby snowmen, fat Santa Claus figurines with the brightest red cheeks you've ever seen, and the many assorted nativity scenes no grandmother can live without. And don't forget the traditional ugly red and green color combo placed on anything from dinner plates to those sweaters that actually have Christmas lights on them cuz ya can't get enough of the Christmas spirit!
Sadly, t.v'.s and radio stations are also plagued with the Christmas nonsense. Music is all holiday related, television channels run their usual marathons of crappy movies that happen to be the same s**t every year, and commercials ring out the tunes of "give him/ her the perfect gift for Christmas", "give the gift of joy this year", "give them what they deserve this holiday season" (give, give, give.. geezus!)
Well to sum it all down, to me, Christmas is the day of being gay and spending your money.
