Life is hard today...

I am reminded how easy it is to feel alone.

It's a new year,

but I still feel the same,

wretched pain every day...

You were there,

and for one,

fleeting moment,

I felt content.

But I waited...

And there you weren't.

So the pain came flooding back.

If only you could feel my pain,

and understand me fully,

you would know why I am the way I am.

I know it would just hurt you...

But sometimes I wish I

could say you are mine.

Sometimes,

I wanna be selfish...

I'm still a child inside.

I want what I can get my little fingers on,

and then not to have to let go...

I love you...

And I wish you could understand me.
