a war at bay
a time of crying
and your not even sighing
whats wrong with us?
a world is dieing

its like thunder
the flash in your eyes
the lighting it strikes

pretend and pretended

alive but alone

conscious but asleep
the childreen
asleep in there beds

as they listen to the sounds
of this unforgotten war
when will it stop i wonder
please stop this madness

it drags on
unforgotten
un forgiving
the months
they pass
and maybe
the years
then suddenly
CRACK!!
all is silent
all is good
the day you came
the crying it stoped
the begging was scilenced
and for once the sun it was out
but it all went away
it always does
you left
walked out
ran away
the war it raged on
never to stop
to beging again
to begin anew
is all i ask of you
