Hi Again.
The thingy continues.....
Bum bum bum......
I find myself in my bed at home, oddly enough, no one seems to be around. Then, your face shows up close to mine and you kiss me. Then, your skin slowly changes back to normal. "How you holding up, hun?" He asks with a smile. "Just fine, thanks." I say back. So far this whole him-being-a-dragon-thing has worked out pretty well, we can fly to anywhere in a snap, and be back before anyone knows. He also has super-human hearing and reflexes.
You apologize and get away from my face, smelling your breath.
"You don't need to do that" I say smugly.
"actually, I do. Other dragons could smell my scent over yours, and we're not supposed to get involved with humans. So....."
"Oh. That's good to know. Now i wont get killed without knowing what happened." blaugh
"Also, if the dragon council finds out, we'll both be killed."
"Oh. Yikes."

I sit here and wait, my hands sweating. Even before you turn the corner, my heart races. You come walk with me and we go to a restaurant. All of a sudden A large "BOOM!" shatters our eardrums. You tell me to run. Smoke fills the air and i cant see. I reach for your hand and then they meet. We run into the night, and someone chases us. You tell me to let you pick me up. I do. Then you run, faster, faster, faster, until the perpetrator is a speck in the distance.

I wake up and you are by my side. We're in a hospital. I had been shot in the leg.
You keep assuring me it's all going to be all right. I know it's not. My heart rate shoots up and doctors and nurses rush in to help. They carry you away, and my world goes dark.

The next morning, sunlight beams into the room, but I'm already up. You tip toe in and kiss my cheek. Then you sit next to me. I see that you are backing away, hiding something that I can't know about. "It's ok", I say "you don't have to tell me." You inhale and look in my eyes. "I can't keep a secret from you. No one can...it's just...hard to explain....you see...."
"See what?" I ask.
"....I''m....I'm a dra-......"
"A what?"
"A dragon...." You say sharply. "You don't want to be with me, do you?" And once again, I fainted.
