I heard a funny (true) story today.
A girl had gotten into trouble, and she sat in the counselor's office. The counselor was trying to say that someone doing a bad thing doesn't make them a bad person. The girl just stares at her blankly, so the counselor says, "Do you understand what I'm telling you?" Girl is still staring, because it's weird, right? So then the counselor says, "See that window? If I take a brick and throw it through the window, that's a good person doing a bad thing. Any questions?"
There's a long pause. Then the girl says, "Yeah, I have one. Why would you throw a brick at your own window??"

This is why I copy T.S. Eliot. He's a damn good poet.
