Keep the following in mind.....
-My brother is 9.
Once again, my mom and little brother are at each other's throats over school work. He wouldn't study for a test that's coming up, and started to get an attitude with mom, so she took away any tv/video game/ccomputer privlidges until the end of the school year (June 10th). On top of that, they were supposed to go to this indoor water park thing we have up here (Great Wolf Lodge, google it) but now they're not doing that, either.
He storms around the house now saying what a jerk mom is, which in all reality, she's not. I'm ten years older than he is, and I understand why she does what she's doing with him. She wants him to succeed in school and he wants no part of it. She's not trying to be a jerk so much as to teach him a lesson. I was never like he was when I was a kid.
However, I also understand why he's feeling frusterated, but for crying out loud he's 9, acting like a 14 year old. Little hissy fits about not being able to go out and the like...the whole angsty emo teen thing of "No one understands me" is coming to my mind when I watch him. I'm seriously glad that by the time he is a teenager I won't be living here.....
I'm also slightly scared that, even though he's 9, he could develop into a sociopath or try to commit suicide.
I'm posting this here because I have to get it out and there's no questions I could ask about it to put it in life issues....

Everyone here (for the most part) has shown me a lot of kindness the past few days, and I really appreciate it! I've got a drawing list now for people, and I'm cutting it off (for now) with the eight people I have chosen...maybe later I'll open it back up again.
I'm trying to save up for kitty options on here.....or some decent clothing, at least...I'm sick of the silly little peasant dress I'm stuck with right now...
Thinking about starting a rp thread here, but I don't want it to get overpopulated...that's why I haven't joined an rp yet.....

Konnichiwa! I am Kurrin, new to Gaia. I am an anthro artist, and my Fursona is an anthrotigress (mage). I like to roleplay a lot, but I'm not used to the system used here... I usually use live chat to roleplay instead of the post system, but that's fine! I'm sure I'll catch on quick! =^-^=
