Ok... I gave into the demon of creative writting and started writting a Naruto Fan-fic. The main characters are Naruto, Hinata, and Sakura and ....well you'll see. This is the first bit (I'll post more later). Ok, here I go:

“Aw man! Granny Tsunade is really working us hard! This has gotta be my fourth mission this week! Uh… Hinata? Your face is bright red. Are you okay?”
Naruto stopped his hyper-speed criticism of the increased workload to turn to his blushing friend. Hinata blinked at Naruto and turned an even brighter shade of red,
“U-um, no I’m fine. I-I’m sorry if I worried you…”
She broke off shyly and looked at his good natured smile, relieved to see no trace of annoyance on his face.
“Good! Hey, are you hungry? I’m starving. Let’s go get some ramen! After all, we’ve got hours before we have to start the mission! Race you to Ichiraku!”
Before she could speak a word, Naruto was already lost in the busy streets of Konoha. Still blushing, Hinata smiled timidly and broke into a run after him. Why is it I can never do anything but turn red and mumble when he is around?, she wondered to herself briefly before catching sight of his blonde hair disappearing behind the back of a startled market stall owner.
Naruto stopped to catch his breath outside of Ichiraku, but soon found himself spread-eagle on the ground when Hinata came running right into him. Blushing an impossible shade of red, Hinata quickly helped Naruto to stand up again.
“Naruto-kun! I-I’m sorry, s-so sorry!”
Laughing, Naruto ruffled her short dark hair playfully (nearly giving her a heart attack) and dragged her over to the counter where he cheerfully greeted the old-man and his daughter who ran the shop.
“Two bowls of ramen please Old-Man! With everything!”
“Coming right up Naruto.”
Naruto turned to face Hinata,
“So Hinata! Have you seen Neji lately?”
“U-uh, um not recently. I think he said something about hiding ...”
//~FLASHBACK~//
“NejiNejiNejiNegiNegiNegiNegiNegi!!!”
“What do you want Naruto?”
“CanItrainwithyou?Please?Please?Please?C’mon!Letmetrainwithyou!”
“…”
“EXCELLENT!Seeyoutomorrowokay?”
“…”

“Here you go! Two bowls of ramen!”
“Itadakimasu!” Naruto and Hinata chorused.
Hinata gazed into the steam spiralling out of her bowl and thought about the up coming mission. The Fifth Hokage had said it was just a straight forward package delivery to the Country of Tea…but that didn’t explain why instead of sending a messenger-bird or a Courier-Nin she chose Naruto, Sakura, and herself. I’m sure it’s nothing, but even if it is something it’s nothing the three of us can’t handle....probably...
She looked up from her bowl shyly to look at Naruto. Beside him was already a stack of at least 12 empty bowls. Naruto saw her glance at the pile and grinned cheekily with his hands held behind his head.
“We will be gone for a few days and there won’t be any ramen for all that time. I need to make this meal last!”
In the background they could faintly hear a high pitched noise but continued talking anyway.
“U-um Naruto-kun…..”
“Yes Hinata?”
“D-don’t you think it’s strange that the package we are supposed to deliver isn’t being delivered by…well a messenger bird or something?”
Naruto thought for a bit then replied, “Not really, Granny Tsunade is just being mean again. You worry too much.”
Hinata blushed. Is he right? Am I just worrying needlessly? But she still couldn’t help but feel a little uneasy.
