Here I go again, with work related rant. I friggin hate the people who come into drive thru, order, then take their sweet time getting to the window. On top of that, they still try to find their money as they look through change compartments trying to make sure they can get exact amount or so they don't have to mess with change. I really get sick of these people, but I deal with it everytime they put me in back window. Then, I get hurried by the order taker to collect and bump them to the next window. There's only so much I can do, especially if they're still looking for their cash. I'm not sure if this has happened to most people, but what I hate the most are people who go through the order process, come up to the window, and then take off because they have insufficient funds. I have to take my time and reprint the order and take out the void. What I really dont' like, credit card payments. It's always a pain having to run from the back window to the front to charge up a credit card. Here's another problem I face everytime I'm back window on drive thru: the front forgets that I'm back there and tells the car to pull up to the 2nd window. Some cars will actually speed by the first window and go off to the next window. Talk about maddening, even with the window opened, they tend to pass me up. Now, some people, regardless if they're told to go to the first window, will still pass me even with my window opened. It gets rather annoying because I have to go to the front, collect, close the order, then give any change back to them. By the time I'm done with that one, another car has already ordered and went straight to the 2nd window. Again, I have to go through the entire process of going back to the front and taking in the payment. Well, that's all I have, until next time, I'll try to get some better stuff to rant about.
