hey havent updated in a while...
i havent really liked anyone this past month...
but then there was makenzie.
last weekend i went over to hang at sarahs house.
she suggested we look in the yearbook to find a new guy for me to like.
she says "how about makenzie?"
i say that i've always thought he was kinda cute but i've never talked to him.
i decide to just go for it.
at school, i consult kit on this matter.
she says that makenzie would probably go for me cuz not a lot of girls wanna be more than friends with him. they all think of him as an older brother...
so then sarah goes to talk to makenzie, they have a class together.
and she just comes out and says "my friend likes you!"
then makenzie started like asking all these questions and stuff about me.
and sarah said he seemed interested.
today at lunch, sarah took me to introduce me and makenzie to each other.
so yeah we found him, sitting with his best friend bryce.
he seemed nice. he even gave me his cell phone number.
then the bell rang and we had to go to class...
after school i texted makenzie just saying "hey makenzie, this is sarahs friend megan"
he didnt text back for hours.
i asked sarah to try to text him too, to see what was up.
its a fake phone number.
i asked sarah why makenzie would do that after he seemed so interested in me earlier this week.
she said it was probably because bryce was there and he was trying to be cool and funny in front of his best friend.
and makenzie probably would have given me his real number if it was just him...
this got me thinking.
if a guy cant be honest in front of his friends, this might cause relationship problems.
i told this to sarah and she said she was gonna tell makenzie off on monday at school.
shes gonna tell him that this is why girls never wanna be more than friends with him.
and hes gotta get his act together because someone actually likes him for once.
i realize this is a little harsh, but i dont care. makenzie needs to hear it.
