After a wonderful ******** of the last 10 minutes of work yesterday, I'm spending today under damocles' sword. Just waitig for the stroke to fall. IF it doesn't fall today, I'll be allright. If it does, I'm looking for a new job. This does not create a wonderful work environment. Mind you, I've never worked in a wonderful work environment, so.. I have no real basis for comparison.
Nothing new and super, although I did get bored and shove a sewing needle through my ear the other day. Piercings are fun. As are tatoos, and I'm so close to being done with my design, I can feel the needle. Mind you, covering my spine and shoulder blades does not sound like the most comfortable of tatoo's, but pain is something I can deal with.
On a related note, a good deal of what I'm doing is related to the convention. Now, I know that's going to sound weird, but let me explain in greater detail. I've been working on my tattoo for years, now. The piercing I planned on doing since sofphmore year of highschool, and that's long gone. Basically, I'm taking this time when money is available, and I'm living on my own to finally finish off some plans. The fact that I'm also "sprucing up the body" for AX is just a detail. I would have done all this anyways, but now I've got a deadline. Which might make little sense to some of you.
Basically, I'm not a people person. (no s**t, eh?) Meeting new people tends to get me nervous, edgy and irritated. So does travel. However, that doesn't mean I don't strive to impress. ******** no. Most of your feelings regarding a person are directed by the first 15 seconds of contact. My ideal is to ******** you into stupidity and awe in 15 seconds or less. This does not happen nearly often enough. I do not see enough people turn into blabbering piles of goo before my horrible visage. So, might as well try and look better. I mean, it couldn't really hurt.
Of course with new plans come new ********. Just when I start planning on doig the final revisions and touch-ups to the possibly horribly expensive tat, items come out which bear purchasing. Devil may cry 3 hit recently, and being a fan, I will eventually own it. Then, we just got hit with God of War, which looks like gaming ambrosia, sweet and unfiltered. Now, if Stubbs the Zombie hits soon, my tattoo fund will have taken a hit from which it may be quite hard to recover. Luckily, Tax refund checks are forthcoming. This may lead to imbedding of ink and the "now I can't lean against the goddamn chair because of my back" gaming. I'll have to get it done on a friday. I'll be damned if I'm wearing that goddamn diaper to work. However, I will be stuck wearing salve and other s**t on my back. Blech. Worst part.
Playing through Doom 3 again. Shitgod, that game is intense. Maybe it didn't scare you, but I'm dicking around and i've done it all before, and it still makes me jump. Especially this whole; "turn a corner.. Oooh red glint! Armor! Wait.. that's not armor.. ********! IMPS!" thing. They seem to like pulling that on me. That game is tasty good, and visually the equivalent of an orgasm. Muscles ripple, metal warps, boxes tumble, shells fly. It's the only game since undying that I can't play at 3 am with headphones on, without looking over my damn shoulder instinctually. Hell, I had to stop and have a smoke with shaking hands after a particularly hairy section. After playing this, Ravenholme in HL2 was a ******** day in the park.. Except for the black-headcrap zombies. God, I hate those ******** with a passion rival to epic.
I was actually quite surprised by the massive influx of gaming goodness over the past few months. HL2, Doom 3, NFSUG2, Chronicles of riddick, Warhammer 40k Dawn of war, Vampire: Bloodlines. I mean.. That's a good 120 hours of gaming quality right there. Beaten NFSUg twice, and it keeps delivering the racing goodness like fresh packages of baby seal eyes. Riddick almost demands another playthrough. So does Half-life 2. mmm... So much.
I may not need new games for a while. Sadly, that doesn't stop me from buying them. Picked up a copy of Final Fantasy tactics Advance because gamestop had it for cheep. Also snagegd final fnatasy 6 and Chrono trigger for playstation for 10$ a pop. Both gams are worth double that, and 3 quality rpg's for 30$ can't be beat. Now, I'm eventually going to ******** play them. Maybe after I beat skies of arcadia and FF: Crystal chronicles. ******** me, I'm an addict.
Alllright, back to modding. Somone has to clean up after you bastards.
