Tournament - day 3
Well I have to say that Tomaras fight today proves size truly doesnt matter. Not that anyone ever thought it did, except maybe his opponent. Ive been living proof of it for years. The guy was big and bulky, with huuge muscles which didnt seem to do much more than get in his way. He was a martial artist, like Tomara....no actually, thats an exaggeration. He wasnt as bad at martial arts as the other forms of combat, and he seemed to favour martial arts, but to say that he was a martial artist would be an insult to real martial artists. The guy could barely punch. He didnt use any recognisable moves, and it wasnt just that I couldn't recognise them; no one could, not even Kaeme, who is something of a martial arts fan (quite surprisingly and yet I can believe it). Tomara has his own unique style, but in this fight he just used a technique we call the take-down-your-opponent-in-seven-moves technique. So I guess those muscles did really serve a purpose; they kept the guy on his feet for longer, but they also slowed him down. Who needs bulk anyway? Not me.
