What defines me from others? What separates me from the rest of the bloggers of today?
I am me, myself and I. I blog about what I want, about what I like and what I do. Boring? The life of an average 14 year old, her problems in school...her problems with friends and her just pure random nonsense. Is this the youths today?
Now, I'm no bimbo. Nor am I some HUGELY popular gal in school. Nope. Zilch Zip Nada. I'm just someone who has her everyday struggles.A teenager, who perhaps has a slightly greater struggle to fit in.
I, for some reason, love speaking out. Its made people snarl at me, make bad remarks about me, but hey, I'm happy, I'm loving it. I speak my mind and am unafraid to do so. So now, why are there many youths who stand in the shadows?
Stand up! Scream your views! Roar a battle cry!
"I am geeky/quiet/shy, hear me ROAR!" (or perhaps squeak)
Yes! But what then, will they think of me?
So maybe we'll just cower in the shadows...but wouldn't that just make us blend into the crowd...an 'empty shell', unecessary to the developement of Singapore?
Hmm, so what ARE the youths of today like, then?
I'll leave you to silently contemplate over that.
