For the Little Mermaid DVD special edition, there's a clip in there were you see the actress for Ariel sing in the booth.. and it's just so moving. You can see it in her face, that she believes and wants you to believe too.. It gives you goosebumps and brings a tear to your eye.. It makes you want to believe too.. That you can reach your dreams, and that you can get something that you want so much.. Even if it does seem impossible.

I think that the animators and the composers captured that theme and message perfectly... but all the same you should watch it to see her..

It's very moving, and even if you're not a fan of the little mermaid.. you should see it.
