Oh my Gods and Goddesses...just hours ago...I talked to the dragon...he, he blessed me with the speech of the Olde Kingdoms...I don't really remember what happened...I remember that Lunethia, Daraunde, and I were all running in fear from the beast, but we ended up in a dead end. We waited, for hours it seemed, until the dragon came upon us. His breath wreaked of decaying flesh and dust. He smelled my skin and pulled me forwards. He then whispered a song delicately into my ears, and I could hear...his thoughts it seemed.

"What are you doing in my cave?"

"Please...we never meant any harm...we were jst curious..."

"Curious...? Of what?"

"I...I don't know...please...I cannot die here, I must...."

"Must what? Do you wish to kill a man?"

"...how did you know?"

"You wreak of revenge....it is corrupting you..." I looked up at him, my eyes teary with anger and fear.

"He...he killed my love..."

"So he must die now?"

"...you think I am a foolish girl then?"

"No....you are just blinded by rage...open your eyes...."

"To what Goddammit! I have nothing...nothing but the hopes of him falling by my hands..."

"Listen to what you say! You are an idiotic woman, listen to my words. Open your eyes..." I stared at his green flickering eyes for a long while, tears rolling down my face. I am glad that Daraunde could not see me.

"I....I wil open my eyes....may we go now?" The dragon laughed and looked back at Daraunde and Lunethia.

"You are lucky to have such wonderful companions...they love you deeply...recognize and appreciate it..."

"I will...thank you..." He smiled and took us all into his claws, Daraunde grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly as we flew through the tunnels of dirt and rock.

"Thank you again...." I whispered to the dragon, he smiled once more then crawled back into his cave without another word. I looked over at the others and smiled timidly. I then realized that I could understand exactly what Lunethia was saying.

"Dear me....my lady almost got us all killed, what a stupid, foolish one..." I looked over at her and began to laugh. She looked over at me and quickly covered her mouth.

"My Gods and Goddesses...did she hear me??!"
