Oh, neglecting deity, The days are like my Decaying faith, The ruins of a once great City.
I sit captive in an Abandoned church. There is dust on the Altar and silence, Save for the tortured hymns, The songs of souls With prayers unanswered. The walls are littered With graffiti prayers, Calling on your name, Some in foreign tongues, All written in tears.
I pray for you to reveal Yourself or retreat Back into the minds Of men who use religion As a crutch and faith to Spill blood.
Until you appear and end This mindless inquisition, I will mumble obligatory Prayers and continue to play Christian. As you let celestial dust Gather on the doubter’s Epistle.
