Hm hm hm... Well I had a cool weekend. ^^ -dances- I want to write it here so I can remember as much as possible. On Friday, I didn't know whether or not I would get to go because Wendy and Javier were fighting. Things were settled down by the time I got home. I did all of my chores, etc and waited and waited. Hime-san didn't get done with work until it was almost 10 to pick me up with her brother. I had pretty much everything and decided to take my PPG blanket instead of my big red one. [big mistake] Amy and Andy went too, and we were playing the Wii. I think Niota tried to go to sleep at around 12 or 1 in the morning. Netoma and Andy were up on the computer talking. When Amy came in from the shower she went to sleep. I woke up off and on because of the light, they were talking and I was anxious to go, maybe. Mostly the light and it was cold, and uncomfortable.. Mostly those things, but I can't really complain. I woke up around 5:30 and gave the little blanky I was using to Niota hime. I slept on the floor for an hour too..haha. xD I couldn't get comfortable. We woke up, and I got changed. We put everything into the truck and went to McD's. [Sausage + Egg McMuffin + OJ... I think BK would've been better. I love their ham+egg crossantwhiches!!] We drove for a few hours, went to Woody's and got a bunch of stickers. <3 Then we went to the Esrella War thingie. We couldn't get in because Andy and Amy were minors. So we decided to go to the Renaissance Fair instead. =3 I think it was more fun than the wars would've been. Plus I don't want to see Melissa or @#%!*& if I can help it.
We went to wallmart before getting there. We also saw a couple who were dressed up either for the renaissance or the wars. We went there to buy cameras, and amy found more colors for the paint set Bianca had gotten us for christmas. it was awesome! I tried to play hide-and-go-seek but Niota hime didn't want to. That made me really sad... -sighs- Like, really, really sad.. I guess it's stupid.
Anyways, we went there, and there were a lot of cool things. Niota hime was dressed up in a tunic + her cape. Andy had the red cape. Amy wore black. [haha] We walked in, and at a corner of the entrance there was a brass quartet welcoming people in. A lot of people were dressed up, especially in the booths. We walked around, and the first place we ventured into was the hat / cape shop and bought Desirea a beautiful, red velvty hat with a huge white feathery feather in it. Andy sported it most of the day. We saw a bunch of different things. I also tuned into a small group that was playing when we first got there.. The flute part was reaaaally pretty. There were gypsies, pirates, egyptians, knights, wenches, peadlers, englishmen, musketeers, musicans, bards.. There was a harp player, and a flute player at the very end.. haha. We went into a lot of different shops. There were weapons, rent a costumes, costumes to buy, lots of food places. There was hand-crafted jewlery, accesories, full armor, parts of armor, elphant rides, theme rides for little kids. There were fairy wings, bat wings, flower head-dresses, crowns, beadery, wooden instruments, plays going on, random characters within the fair itself [like the peadler who had a crappy violin]
One of the main events was the tournament. We ended up sitting on the French side for some reason. Our little spokesperson was the prettiest one. Someone in the crowd commented that she was a saucy wench. gonk xp Anyway.. There was the english, french, scottish, italian.. -thinking- I can't remember what the other one was. Maybe spanish? I have no clue. But the french guy loved 'chaos' and 'was bathed and nutured in the blood of his enemies'. He was funny. He talked trash about everybody.. Now that I think about it, he reminds me of the belgium only not so creepy. Then the frenchmen and the englishman decided to have a joust to the death. [entertainment.. dada...] So we would go see that later that night. It was a lot of fun.. There were lots of interesting dishes too. Like this soup in a bread bowl, or something. Anyways..
After that we went around through the various shops. There was also palm reading, parasols, chocolate factory, staffs, mirrors, hair thingies, gypsy outfits, pirate store.. Hm.. can't think of anything else right now. Anyway, Niota hime bought a belt, a pouch, and a frog for a sword. She also got a Gladius [GLAHD-EE-US] which is a roman sword. It's kinda heavy. Andy got some bead thingies that can go on your head or around your neck. I got a wooden flute, which I had lost and later retreived. Hime got a unicorn whistle. We also went into a mask store. She bought a beautiful green mask. ^^ Throughout the day we kept saying 'Desirea would love this, or Desirea would wear this'. We were so sad that she didn't come. =( It would have been x99999 more fun if she had. <3 After we saw the tournmanet [The frenchman = Philipe. lost because he was made out to be the 'bad guy' so to speak. he wasn't the bad guy, but.. he didn't exactly play fair so.. yeah. the englishman won of course because it was his home kingdom and whatnot. It was cool because blood squirted out from their neck and they were bloody. lol.] We got some chicken legs. They were so good. I couldn't eat it all either. It wasn't too bony though thankfully. We also got some raspery slushies. yum! We took lots of pictures of stuff Desirea would've loved to see. Niota also took pictures of the frenchmen.. 20 of them. [-giggles-] Or of the 'jousting tournament'.. haha. Then we left. We didn't know what to do. We didn't have a lot of money left between all of us, and we didn't have anywhere to camp. We really wanted to camp though. [for numerous reasons.] We eventually found a camping site. We could only have one tent though. So we all threw our stuff in there. Sure, there was enough room for everybody, but there was an issue with the sharing of the blankets. We also played fortunately and unfortunately. Andy and Amy played with the paint set we got from Wallmart. Niota hime and I had a little time to ourselves when they changed and took a shower, and after they went to sleep.
When we woke up around 8:30 it was still kinda cold. We changed and got everything packed up. We went to breakfast at some place and got the buffet breakfast. I stole away some fig nutans I neglected to eat. -sighs- After that we went to a bookstore [that was next to a cheese factory!!] We were there for at least two hours. I was reading all the books I could get my hands on. I read MeruPuri 3 & 4, FullMoon 6, Fruits Basket 11.. I didn't get to read Utena 5 or Gravitation. ;_; I looked at some of the art books upstairs too. I kinda wanted to fall asleep there. It was like heaven. Even the floor was comfortable. Or maybe I was just very exhausted? On the way back I tried to work on comic stuff but my head was pounding. We got to Niota's house and we were all very tired. We tried to sleep but it wasn't exactly restful to say. We had mac 'n cheese over there. Then we were all forced to go home.
Amy stayed the night at my house. We were up until 4 drawing or reading manga. I went to sleep and she kept reading my bookshelf until 6 or 6:30 in the morning. We woke up at about 12, had some lunch and started doing homework. I finsihed mine in less than 30 minutes because I didn't have a lot. She had to do stocks, english.. lots of stuff. xD So she didn't quite finish up until 6:30pm. I was very happy to have her over. We would draw, or she would give me ideas or suggestions on the drawings. When she analised my abstract drawing I was at a loss for words. When she talks about certain things, it's just so beauitful I can't think of anything to say.. haha. And it's cute how she thinks she is like the moon, how she takes the sunlight from other things and turns it into her own moonlight. [not in those words, I'm changing them into my own] We had some soupa for dinner whne Wendy came home. Then I drove her home, and came back. Watched TV, and got to talk to hime-san for 40 minutes. We were cut off when i had to do something really quick. I was sad, but I'm greatful that she called me and nothing bad happened to her last night with her parents. -nods-
It took me 30 minutes to write all of that. I usually summerize about now.. lol. I had so much fun this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's one of the best weekends ever, and I hope Bianca had fun at regionals and she wasn't last chair! I just wish we could've had seperate tents. The fun we missed out on.. -le sigh- but we still had fun, and.. I will always cherrish these memories with everyone.
