A whole lot of the people around me are inclined to call me D, and they're all quite a lot taller than I am, so I am inclined to allow them. But since you all know me as Adeiras, or even as Addy, I'll be inclined to answer to that, too.
I live in a small place in a small town in a medium, rectangular-sized bit of territory in the US. My small place of an apartment is, roughly 30 to 35 feet across and about the same long (sorry, but I've no clue what that would be in meters, just imagine something itty-bitty). The window next to my desk I am now sitting at overlooks Main Avenue, and because it is currently 6:53 PM local time on a Friday night (before the bars have opened), there isn't much activity at all.
My small town of a home is, roughly, 18,500 people, and happily called Brookings. It has a great garden called McCrory which is very pretty in the summertime, a great college called South Dakota State University which is very pretty in the autumn and wintertime, and a main avenue which is rather quiet before the bars open. Ah, repeat information.
My medium, rectangular-sized bit of territory in the US is South Dakota, and it's rather pretty all year round, depending on your tastes. I like it, though I tend to convince myself that all the construction either isn't there or isn't all that ugly.
Behind me, my TV is playing the first disc of a movie called The Tenth Kingdom, which is among my top 10 movies. Just thought that might help you figure out the type of person I am, especially if you know the movie.
I am what they call a theatre person - the theatre is my current field of study and I think I'm doing a rather good job of it. Beyond all that, I quite enjoy novels and movies and music and art. Right now I'm reading The Stainless Steel Rat's Revenge by Harry Harrison (though I've only got two chapters left). Following that, I will read The Stainless Steel Rat Saves the World by the same author, and then proceed to Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett, which I'm looking forward to.
My main projects, other than those required by my scholastic endeavors are these: the writing of a script for an annual event at my college called Capers (but more on that later, I guarantee) and a dramatic interpretation of The Epic of Gilgamesh, which I hope to do as experimental theatre next fall.
I sing On a Night Like This by Trick Pony every time I go to karaoke, but once they get The Bride by the same group, that will be my standard.
