On 17 Feb 2007 I will travel the 40-something minutes to Pella, Iowa and sing for a group of complete strangers with no practice besides that which I can manage to squeeze in while I'm sitting at the computer desk. I'll be singing for a scholarship of about $2,000. If I don't get that one, I will still have a shot at the art scholarship for the same amount. I'll be singing 'God Help The Outcasts' from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Good song. If you've never heard it, I challenge you to watch the movie and listen...Esmerelda sings it in the cathedral, I believe. Anyways, it's slightly depressing and at the same time everyone knows it's true. I'll post the lyrics tomorrow. I'm also singing Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson...anyone not know what that one is, then I can't help you. Well, it is a quarter after midnight on a school night and I need to sleep for at least six hours to function normally in the morning, so I bid you all adieu. *salutes* oh, and Mikaé says hi, she's my muse...(pronounced mee-kay)
