M.O.E. Creatures of Euphoria

Elves

Races: Light elf, Dark elf

Types: White Magic, Fighting, Black magic, Summoner

Life span: For the most part, Infinite. Elves can die from anything but old age.

Shelter: Colonies of Elves mainly live in forests or anywhere near water. Being the first creation on the planet, they found it fitting to live amongst the longest living things; the tree and the ocean. Elfish homes are large holes carved into old, thick trees, buildings placed directly on the top of a tree (much like a tree house) or homes made much like Human homes.

Appearance and Life style: All Elves are fair featured and seem as if they stopped aging around their late twenties. They are the most mystical looking creature in all of Euphoria with their long ears and their slender bodies.

Light Elves: Light Elves have extremely long ears and fair skin. Their hair and eye colors are generally bright and lively. Light Elves generally consist of White mages, Fighters, and Summoners. It is rare to find a Black mage in a Light Elf community. They sleep only once every three months and stay wide awake for the rest of the time. Light Elves are mainly found around oceans but a few colonies moved into the forest and settled there. These forests generally have at least one lake or river running through it. The Elves gate their colonies as to control who passes through. Each Light Elfish village or town has guarded entrances on all four directions. Names are taken when a stranger enters and exits town either for trade or visiting. Residents are well known to the guards and are guaranteed hassle-free entrance and departure from towns. Light Elfish society is run by an “Elder”, the longest living Elf in the community, much like having a King or Queen.

Dark Elves: Dark Elves are definitely titled accurately. They do not have to sleep. Their ears are shorter than Light Elfish ears, but their ability to see in the dark makes up for their lack of elfish hearing. Hair colors among the Dark Elves are shady while their eyes are brightly colored. All Dark Elves are born with small markings along their faces or arms. The Dark Elves consist of Black mages, Fighters, and Summoners. Like the Light elves have rare occasions of black mages, Dark elves have a shortage of healers. The Dark Elves reside in the Crystal Forests or Underground where it is nice and cool. Like the Light Elves, Dark Elves keep their communities gated from the other races and guard the entrances and exits. The society is run by an elected official, much like having a president.





Humans

Races: Krayis, Makki, Xyhan

Types: Infinite, they can be anything they put their mind to.

Life span: 70-80 years

Shelter: Humans homes are scattered throughout the planet and made of anything they can find (mainly wood from trees). They have no specific preferences.

Appearance and Life style: There isn’t much difference between Humans of Euphoria and Humans of Earth. They have to eat, and sleep everyday to stay alive.

Krayis: The Krayis are the most prevalent of all races of Human. If you take a look around you on Earth, all the humans you see are just like the Krayis. Each Krayis specializes in a specific field of study depending on their own talents. The Krayis are a diverse group and have no specific look or color.

Makki: The Makki are a special type of people. Like the Elves, the Makki look very young and tend to have small frames. They have brightly colored hair and warm colored eyes. Despite the slender appearance of a Makki, they have abnormally high defense. The Makki’s blood is quickly regenerated so if they are wounded it is unlikely they will die from blood loss. The Makki’s primary residences are on small islands where they mainly farm rare fruits and vegetables.

Xyhan: The Xyhan are much like the Krayis in a way that they are a very diverse type of people. They come in all shapes and sizes. The only thing that separates Xyhan from Krayis is their ability to hold their breath for long periods of time and a small jewel that protrudes from their foreheads. The Xyhan are able to survive without breathing for up to two hours. Most Xyhan specialize in treasure hunting and sailing.





Zahnians

Races: Zahnian (only one race)

Types: Blacksmith, Merchant, Inventor

Life span: 140-150 years

Shelter: Like Humans, Zahnians are scattered throughout the planet. Zahnian filled towns are mostly found in mountainous regions since Zahnians prefer the fresh air.

Appearance and Life style: These cat-like creatures are the second oldest beings on the planet of Euphoria. They have large animal like ears and tails with furry tips and are generally tall in height. The Zahnians skin is coated in soft fur which keeps them warm in the winter-like climates. Some Zahnians have patterns such as stripes and spots along their bodies as well. They live in igloos, huts, tents, and caves. Much like the Light Elfish society, Zahnians have a chief who runs the tribes with apprentices.
