A Rufus Fanfic.
Ah, what the hay. Might as well try it, no? Here goes. I guess I'll add some back story and then a bit of Fanfic...
Personality: A born leader, somewhat timid around his people due to his regret of the things his father has done. He also has an intense hatred for a certain Second Rate Scientist thanks to the result of the special treatment the young heir of ShinRa was given... He can have a good sense of humor- but only around the people he trusts. He is calm, calculating and precise.
Bio: Thrust into the Company at the tender age of 14, Rufus spent his childhood learning to be an adult. By the time he turned 18, he and his father had developed very different ideals. Despite his title of Vice President, Rufus was sent away from the company and given comand of the Junon Front. His father told the company managers it was to "prepare his son", but Rufus knew, it was secretly due to his father's hatred of him...

Rufus turned away from his father, furious.
"Have you told mother? Or did you intend to keep it from her forever?"
His father glared at him. "You'll keep your mouth shut boy. Know your place!"
"Keep my mouth shut? On which issue? Your escapades with the Bees? The dropping of the Sector 7 plate? The studies on Mako's effect on LifeStream? The Mako infusion process? This goes on Old Man. This has got to stop, now!"
Rufus knew he had crossed the line before he even felt the blow. His father hit him hard in the ribs, knocking the wind from his lungs and doubling him over. He fell to one knee as he fought to breathe. "You can't... hide forever... Someday... everyone will know..."
"Go home and pack your things. You leave for Junon tomorrow. If the front line doesn't straiten you out, nothing will. Now, get out.
