college is so different from the rest of life. you live somewhere else, with no chaperones or adults looking after you. you have to trust that the people in your building are responsible and honest. you have to hope that no one is going to try to use you. you have to try and stay strong when you're all by yourself, because you can't just go to your parents for encouragement and love. you have to remind yourself to eat. you have to remind yourself to go to sleep. you have to do your homewok without anyone prodding you to get it done. you have to make it.
