Sold my inventory to get a sash, which I didn't end up getting.
That's okay though because I couldn't have equipped it in time for the ball anyway, because the inventories were disabled without warning.
That's okay as well because my date for the ball didn't show up anyway. It sure is a good thing that it all worked out in the end.
