Silently I watch, As the sun and the moon meet, At daybreak they kiss, And the air is filled with warmth.
When the moon rises, Her children the stars rush forward to greet her, And she weaves them stories, Of love and hope, And the stars twinkle with happiness, high in the sky.
When the sun rises, His friends the clouds rush forward to greet him, And celebrate the new day, With brilliant colors, Of red pink and orange.
Together they meet, The sun and the moon, When the other is tired, And the time is past noon.
The stars and the clouds, Politely say hi, Then follow their best friends, Whether low or up high.
I watch as they dance, On that bright happy sky, And I can't help but wonder, Will I reach their sky, Filled of joy and of hope, Filled with the warmth of love?
I watch their ceremony, Time after time, And find myself float, High in that sky, With the moon and her children, With the sun and his friends, and with the minds of young dreamers, Who love to pretend.
I now float on with them, And know that life, Can be an adventure, If you know where to start.
