This year I went to my first New Years party (located in the same city as home). It was a blaaast; played Nintendo Wii, went snowmobiling (for the first time), and ate lots of delicious food. It was at my Boyfriend's friend's house, a little rural place surrounded by huge fields. There was lots of booze but I didn't have any, and neither did the guys I ripped around with (maybe after I left?). And despite the unfamiliar surroundings, I felt rather safe. It was like I was with my three older brothers, but with less of an age difference. Like when I went out on my own snowmobile rather than doubling, I always had at least one of them near by watching me. Okay, there was one time I didn't feel safe. When I doubled with Pierce (the guy who's party it was sorta), he took me ripping around at 60mph(?) sideways, vertical, and what would be equivalent to a wall ride on a skate bored. I think he did it more to scare my boyfriend more than me.
