Shari went into the village. She went to go say hi to everyone including her friends. Her friends were probably at the hangout where they used to hang out. When Shari went inside she saw everyone. Almost everyone, and that’s when she asked, “Where’s Katie?” Katie was inside her bedroom looking at herself in the mirror. “Look at me,” She said to herself. “I look way different the last time Shari saw me. I used to have somewhat of straight hair, but now it’s just wavy.” Katie examined her face. She noticed that her freckles were fading away for some reason. Katie then remembered something a long time ago. “You think you can defeat THE Katie?” said Katie. The boy with blonde hair looked up. “As if!” Katie then said, “That boy was from that organization called the akatsuki. A lot of people in the village say that they’re after Naruto.” Katie just stared off into space thinking. She closed her eyes.
A few minutes had passed and Katie finally opened her eyes. She got her backpack and started packing. She quietly walked to her brother’s room and took some of his clothes. She took all of her weapons and some scrolls. She got three bottles of water. Just as she was about to open the door someone knocked on the door. “Hello! Anyone home?” said a familiar voice. “Shari...,” Katie whispered to herself. She opened the door and saw Shari. “Share-Bear!” Katie hugged Shari tightly. Shari talked after every breath. “Katie-your-choking-me!” “Oh sorry Share-Bear!” Katie let go of Shari and she fell to the floor. “Katie don’t call me that when we’re in public! It’s so embarrassing!” “Sorry Shari,” Katie said. Katie looked at Shari and said, “Wow Shari! You changed a lot the last time I saw you! What was it like two days ago?” “Katie,” Shari said, “It’s been three years!” Of course Shari hasn’t seen her friends in a long time because she left the village when she was seven to go to Konoha.
Shari grabbed Katie by the hand and said, “C’mon Katie lets go get some ramen at one of the shops!” Katie then responded, “Um I don’t think….” “C’mon Katie!” Just as Shari pulled her out of the house, Katie grabbed her backpack.
Shari and Katie entered the Ramen Shop. Shari noticed that Alex was sitting away from Alexis, and Heather was sitting next to Alex. Oscar was talking to Shannon until Katie entered and he stopped talking. Shari sat down next to Alexis, and Katie sat right next to Shari. Then Oscar and Shannon sat next to Heather and Rachel sat next to Alexis. Everyone was talking except for Katie. As soon as everyone got their ramen, Katie just took off without a word. Shari was about to eat until she noticed Katie had left. “Here Alex,” said Shari as she handed him her ramen. “THANKS!” Alex started gobbling down on his fifth bowl of ramen. As Shari left the Ramen Shop she noticed that Katie was running toward the gates. “Katie!” Katie turned around. “Katie why did you leave? Don’t you want to see Alex cry when he sees the bill?” Katie just stared at Shari. “Shari,” Katie said, “Get away from me.” Shari looked at her in astonishment. “Katie are you feeling ok?” “Shari,” Katie started, “I know I just said “hi” to you this morning… Now it is time for me to say good bye.” As Katie turned around and started walking Shari got in front of her. “You’re not going anywhere unless you give me an explanation!” “Shari listen,” “NO YOU LISTEN! Why are you leaving? And most importantly WHERE?!” “Shari I’m warning you!” Shari just kept on standing there with a very mad expression on her face. “SHARI I WARNED YOU!!!” Then just right there Katie punched Shari so hard that she fell.
Chapter 2

“What! That’s impossible!” Shari was thinking to herself. “No one could punch me and make me fall to the ground even when I haven’t used my chakra!” Then Shari noticed that Katie did a hand sign, and the ground was suddenly moving. Shari quickly got up on her feet but then the earth under her feet exploded. Shari jumped high into the air with a cut on her leg and some bruises. “Damn,” thought Shari. “How could Katie do that kind of jutsu?” Shari landed on a tree. Knowing that the village is called “The Hidden Village in the Trees” that there are so many trees. Shari saw Katie from a distance and then she disappeared.
Shari looked around to find her until something grabbed her by the leg. It was Katie and then Katie stabbed Shari in the leg that it went through one of her veins. Shari screamed in pain. Then Katie fell and ran again. Shari was about to chase after her but she noticed that she couldn’t move. “What?” Shari looked at her leg and noticed that the kunai was still there and there was a piece of string tied to it. Suddenly Shari found out why Katie stabbed her in the leg. Shari tried to hold on to the tree until the string started to pull. Shari tried to take the string off the kunai but couldn’t. “If I let go of the tree I’ll get pulled by the string.” Shari just tried to take the pain but couldn’t hold on any longer. Shari just let go of the tree and she was falling. The string was pulling her so fast that Shari couldn’t see where she was going. Shari was getting scratches on her face because of all the tree’s branches. Suddenly Shari hit the ground face first very hard. Shari’s headband came off of her forehead. She saw that her forehead was bleeding a little bit. “Earth prisoner cell jutsu!” Shari looked around her and noticed that she was in a cell. Katie came out of hiding and said, “I’m giving you one more chance. I’ll let you go if you don’t tell anyone about this or you can die here. Your choice.”
Shari just looked at Katie. “Well?” Katie asked. “Neither,” said Shari. Katie’s eyes started getting dark red, and brown chakra was coming out of her hands. “YOU LEAVE ME NO CHOICE….. DIE!!!!” Katie did a super fast hand sign and yelled, “SAYONARA EARTH JUTSU!” The cell dissolved and turned into quicksand. Shari’s legs and hands were stuck in the quicksand. “What!” Then Katie did another hand sign and yelled, “1000 EARTH KUNAIS OF DEATH!” A kunai stabbed Shari in the stomach. Shari screamed. Then more kunais started stabbing her. Blood was dripping everywhere, and the quicksand looked like a puddle of blood. “I thought you were my FRIEND!” Was all Shari could say. Shari’s chakra somehow couldn’t heal her even though she barely used any. Shari used the last bit of her chakra because the quicksand was eating it all away. Shari send a message to Tsunade through a telekinesis jutsu that she made. The message was, “Help me…” Then the last kunai that came out of the quicksand stabbed Shari in the heart. Shari started passing out as if she was going to die. Her body was still sinking in the quicksand very slowly. “Katie, why?” Then Shari had passed out. Katie’s eyes turned back to normal and she forgot where she was. Then she remembered where she was going to. But before she picked up her backpack she saw someone sinking into something. Katie noticed that it was… “SHARI!” Katie just stared at Shari sink in the quicksand. She tried to help Shari but Katie used up all of her chakra. Katie dropped her head and started crying. “What have I done? I just killed my best friend!” Katie kept on crying until she saw Shari’s headband on the floor. She picked it up. Katie left the headband on the floor and left the village. Without saying good bye.
Chapter 3

Alex and the others started walking to their hangout. “Dude, I can’t believed that you cried again!” said Shannon. Everyone was laughing and Oscar laughed the loudest. Alex responded, “I did not cry! I had…uh… some of the ramen juice in my eye!” “As if Alex,” Heather said. “The bill was like over 1600 yen!” As soon as they reached the hangout Rachel said, “Hey guys, what ever happened to Katie and Shari?” “Oh don’t worry about it,” Alexis said, “They’re probably at Katie’s house drawing or putting on make-up or something.” “I guess you’re right,” Rachel responded. Everyone just grabbed a comic book and started reading. “I just hope I’m right,” Alexis said to himself.
It was already getting, dark and Katie wasn’t even half ways there. Katie stopped for about two minutes to drink some water. Then she was back on traveling. Katie kept on jumping tree after tree. A few more hours had past and she still wasn’t there. At about three in the morning Katie went to a nearby tree and took a little nap. “At about five I should wake up.” Katie yawned and went to sleep. At five thirty Katie was barely getting up. “Damn!” Katie drank some more water and went back jumping trees. Around seven forty five Katie finally reached the place. It was near a waterfall. Katie looked at an old rusted sign in some bushes that said “AKATSUKI: NO VISITORS AND NO GIRLS!” Katie went to a tree and changed behind it. She was wearing her brother’s black shirt with a fishnet under shirt and black pants. Then she got some dark black eye shadow and put it on. That way she looked somewhat of a boy. Katie walked quietly to the entrance.
There was a huge boulder in the way so she hit it with all of her strength and the boulder broke into little pieces. Katie walked in quietly until she heard a voice from the shadows saying, “HAULT!” Katie froze and she looked around her. She saw a bunch of evil eyes lurking around. Then another voiced asked, “What is your purpose boy?” “Well at least they think I’m a boy,” Katie thought. Then Katie changed her voice a little deeper and said, “I would like to join the Akatsuki.” It was quiet for a moment until there was laughter among the shadows. “Get a load of this kid!” “He thinks he can just join the Akatsuki like that!” “HA! Man this boy is really stupid!” Everyone kept on laughing until someone hollered, “ENOUGH!” Two people stepped out of the shadows. One of them was Uchiha Itachi, and the other one was a blue like shark person. Then everybody else stepped out except for two people. Katie examined all the Akatsuki members. They all looked weird. Then she made eye contact with a boy with blonde hair. He looked familiar but Katie just looked away. “What’s your name boy?” the person in shadows. “Katie,” she said. “What kind of name is Katie for a boy?” he asked. “None of your business you b*****d,” Katie responded. Kisame, the blue man, said, “Don’t ever call the Leader that!” Kisame was about to pull out his sword until the Leader said, “Kisame, I’ll take care of this.” The Leader walked up to Katie and examined her. He placed his hand on her head and mumbled some words. He closed his eyes and then he opened them. “Your body is consumed of two different types of chakra. Do you have a jinchuriki?” Katie just stared at the leader. “No,” Katie lied.
“Well then let’s begin,” said the Leader. Katie had a confused expression on her face. “What do you mean begin?” she asked. “I mean that you have to fight one of the members from the Akatsuki.” The Leader grabbed Deidara by the arm and said, “I believe Deidara would be a good opponent for you. He’s looks about the same age as
you.” “So that’s your name?” asked Katie. Katie had finally recognized Deidara. “He’s that boy from when I fought him in Konoha. His hair used to be shorter though, but now it’s so long,” Katie said quietly. Katie, Deidara, and the rest of the Akatsuki went outside. The waterfall was gone and there was only water and rocks. Suddenly the sky had turned purplish black. The other Akatsuki members were sitting in thrones in the sky. Deidara and Katie got in stance mode. “You might as well just give up, yeah,” Deidara stated, “I’m way too strong for someone like you, yeah!” “Are you going to talk all day or are we ganna fight?!” Katie said. “Let this match begin,” said the Leader. Deidara jumped into the air. He put two fingers to his face and the other hand was forming clay. Katie looked at him. “Oh yeah…” Katie whispered. “He has those mouths on his hands and they make clay.” Katie looked back up again and was shocked. Deidara was standing on top of a huge bird made entirely of clay. “Beat that, Yeah!” he yelled. Katie did a hand sign and Deidara’s bird started tearing apart and then…. “WHAT!” Deidara’s bird exploded and he was falling. He kept on falling until he landed on a tree. “That’s impossible. Only I can control when the clay can explode, yeah!” Deidara jumped off the tree and started running. Katie ran alongside him. Side by side, they were running until Katie flip-jumped over Deidara and threw a kunai at him.
Deidara blocked it with a kunai. Their kunai hit each other with a flash of sparks, and Katie caught his eye. Deidara’s eyes showed frustration, like he thought it was hard to keep up. “If I keep this up I’ll win,” Katie thought. Deidara was thinking the same thing.
He knew that Katie was going to get exhausted eventually. He put two fingers to his face and a little clay bird was flying. Then Deidara got a smoke bomb and hid in a tree. Katie couldn’t find out where he was. Then she saw this little clay bird and said, “What the!” There was a huge explosion. Katie was rolling on the ground. She quickly got up and her arm was bleeding. Blood was dripping from her lip and she quickly looked around. Deidara punched her in the stomach. He then grabbed her by the shirt and knees her in the stomach. Katie coughed up blood. Deidara then does something that every teenager would do. Deidara smiles evilly and yells, “b***h SLAPPED!” Katie goes soaring through the air. After he had his laugh he ran toward her. Katie quickly shook her head and threw a kunai at him. Deidara got a cut on his face. And before he knew it he fell on top of Katie. Katie and Deidara blushed until Katie kicked him off. Then Deidara vanished and everything was blurry to Katie. Katie saw that she was on a huge cliff and thought she was going to fall until someone said, “See ya, YEAH!” Everything was back to normal and Katie felt weird. She noticed that Deidara had stabbed a kunai in her stomach and Katie fell. Katie finally gave up and said quietly, “I deserve to die…” As soon as she almost hit the ground Deidara caught her.
The sky turned back to normal and everyone went back inside the cave. Then the leader said as everyone gathered along Katie, “He put up a great fight. I believe he’s well enough to be in the Akatsuki. Deidara go to the infirmary and take Katie with you. Go and treat your wounds. We’ll start training with Katie tomorrow
