Well, we all know that Mardi Gras (Fat tuesday) is a celebration that involves much...umm... festivities, especially in Louisianna (sp?)
Has anyone ever noticed that Mercredi Sainte, which follows Mardi Gras, if regarded phonetically can have a double meaning?
Sainte sounds the same as ceinte, meaning 'pregnant' which is what I'm sure more than a few people end up after a day of such drunken antics. Ironic no, that it's followed by Pregnant Wednesday? xp xd blaugh
Oh man, I have way too much time on my hands. Where do I come up with these things?!
