And what have you done?
Another year over
and a new one begun.
Indeed, this is the biggest understatement of the year.
When I got home, I ate and went to my room. I sat on my bed against the wall, listening to The Used sing "War Is Over" and "Alone This Holiday". While listening to the words, I began thinking about this entire year and all that has happened. From January when I was still bitching about AJ and dating people online til now... it's amazing how far I've come and how much I've grown emotionally. It's true that Andrew Bondoc killed me inside once and tore up my heart, but over the months, my heart was slowly put back together by all my friends and Jana.
It's true that my friends have always played an important role in my life, but the biggest thing that has happened to me... well, let's just say that the best was saved for last, and it really was. My highlight of this year was my meeting Jana Moore, the greatest thing that has happened to me since... ever. ^^ She has been my guide out of denial (proven during the whole Dwayne-and-Jana situation in the beginning of my freshman year) and my greatest consolation (proven every single day). I have no clue where I'd be without her... I love you, Jana. I trust you, I believe in you, I have faith in you, and all of those other wonderful things.
