My dad went on a business trip not so long ago to a different state. He went looking through the shops there for something to bring back- because the place he went holds a lot of my child hood memories, and I most likely will not get to go there again because my uncle who lived there is no longer alive.
My dad couldn't find anything I would like. So, the night before he left to come back home he stopped at one of my favourite restraunts in the city. He brought home my favourite chinese dish from there- Beef and potatoes, which doesn't sound very chinese.
I was touched he'd do so- but it's kinda funny because he had to fly the chinese take out across a couple of states to be able to bring it home.
