The Earth Diaries
Welcome to Earth...
Part Two: Sugar and Seiko
The girls had complained that they were hungry, so Miroku, trying to avoid any temper tantrums, said they could stop for lunch. Going through Kagome's pack, he found some instant ramen and heated some up for them over a small fire. Continuing to go through her pack, he also found some sodas, which he gave the kids as well. Of course, he didn't know that four-year-olds and Coke don't mix. Within minutes, the kids were bouncing off the walls.

Sango had grabbed the Tetsusaiga and was trying to lift it. "Look at me! I'm a demon slayer!" she yelled.

InuYasha dragged the sword away from her. "That's a sword for demons, not humans-- ESPECIALLY not girls!"

Kagome, in a slightly more cutesy voice, said, "Come on, guys, can't we just all be friends?" After having more soda, she was running around with Sango, trying to tackle InuYasha.

Miroku was desperately trying to get them to calm down. When he would get one of the girls sitting down, she would immediately get back up and chase after InuYasha again. The monk finally groaned and sat down. I can't do this, he thought, There is no way I can do this...

He suddenly realised it was much quieter and looked up in time to see the kids running down the road. "Dammit!" He ran after them, and nearly bumped head-first into a nineteen year old girl that had managed to catch them.

She was a wolf-hanyou with black hair, ears, and tail. Her silver eyes were shining with laughter as she carried InuYasha and Sango. InuYasha was thrown over one shoulder sack-o-potatoes style, and she had Sango balanced on her hip. Kagome was walking alongside her, much calmer than the others. "Are these three yours?" she asked.

"Yes," Miroku said. "I mean, no-- I mean, will you bear my child?"

She set down Sango, who seemed to have calmed down quite a bit. "Don't you already have your hands full?" she asked, confused at Miroku's question. InuYasha had begun kicking and pounding his fists on her back, demanding to be let down. She took him off her shoulder and held him in the air in front of her by the waist. "Look, you," she said with a slight growl in her voice, "Calm down!"

He sulked slightly, but agreed, and was soon set down onto the ground.

She laughed slightly at the young hanyou then looked back at Miroku. "You need help... don't you?"

He quickly nodded.

"...Can't help you there. I have no experience what-so-ever with kids."

"Neither do I!!!"

She raised her eyebrows questioningly and pointed to InuYasha, Kagome, and Sango.

"They're not mine! They're my friends and-- never mind, long story." He looked up at her hopefully. "Would you stay? I can't handle three four-year-olds by myself..."

She laughed at the exaspirated look on the monk's face as the kids started running around again. "I won't be much help, but yeah, I'll stay. My name's Seiko, by the way."

He instantly brightened. "Mmm.... Seiko, such a pretty name. Will you bear my child?"

She rolled her eyes slightly. "You already asked me that..." she said calmly.

"Oh, erm... right. Sorry..."
