So, as I was trying to take a picture of the runaway shrimp at the drama club cast party, I realized that my beloved camera is horribly broken. D:
Apparently I busted the screen somehow. I still have no clue how I could've done it... I usually carry it around in my back pocket, but because of that I'm always super careful not to sit on it. I barely sat down while it was in my pocket during the play, and when I did I was careful. Afterwards, I took my camera out and put it in my hoodie pocket. Sometime between the beginning of the play and the cast party, the inside of my screen blew. There aren't any cracks on the actual screen, which is weird. Andrew, being the tech. expert he is, said that it shouldn't've broken that easily to where I didn't notice anything hitting it hard enough to break it.
I'm really bummed out about this. D: I love my camera... Fortunately, I'm pretty sure I have a warranty on it... Maybe I can get the newer version of it which has more megapixels... I dunno. But I'm still sad. As far as I know, it still takes pictures. I just can't view them on the digital screen. Since only the screen is damaged, if it will still take pictures, my photography days won't be completely over until it can get fixed. My settings are still saved, and as long as it's still able to capture and upload pictures, I should be okay.
I blame you, guy at Best Buy who said it should be okay in a pocket. D:<
