After many months of searching, I have FINALLY found a new dojo to train at! YAY! blaugh It's actually alot nicer than the other place I went to, with wooden (if somewhat squeaky) floors and huge mirrors on almost every wall. Sensei is very nice as well, letting everyone train at their own pace and giving everyone help whenever they need it. It's a real chalange trying to adjust to this new style though, since it differs greatly from my previous style. Although they are both Okinawan, this style is very "soft" and focuses (I hope I spelled that right...) greatly on speed, agility and avoiding conflicts as much as possible. My other style on the other hand....well...Let's just say that bruising, exahustion, and sprained joints were the least of my worries everytime I attended class... sweatdrop
I must say that I really like this style and I intend to continue with it as much as possible.
(Sorry for rambling on like that, guys...)
