It's not Personal, It's just Sex
This is my reward

{Feeling like...A Jelly Fish}
{Music//"What's Left of the Flag" by Flogging Molly}

Everyone worries about global warming and holes in the ozone.
When it warms up to 65 degrees in the middle of January, they cry "It's global warming, we have to do something!" (even if it wasn't)
But I'm driving down town, and a man passes in shorts and a wind breaker. His shoelaces are neon yellow and his shorts an unattractive shade of blue. If I had not looked up and seen a spindly dead looking winter tree I might have been deceived to think it was early spring.
I'm relaxing in a park I swore in September I couldn't return to at that hour until spring because it was getting to be too cold. No coat, just a sweater, not cold at all.
I'm riding the pineapple express in bliss. The unusual warmth has been good for everyone. It's like we've stumbled upon an island in the middle of the ocean, where we can rest ourselves from the freezing waters. We're getting back on our way now, but wasn't it like nothing else to stay outside until midnight in the dead of winter?
Hey, maybe this is selfish, but the negative aspects of global warming are just too far off in the future to worry me. Other generations are going to pay for our disgusting pollution. People seem to think we've come so far, and yet we all know we're destroying the planet and ourselves as we speak, exhausting resources, poisoning the water, and filling the air with toxins. We're in awe of our own medical and scientific marvels, and we're thinking about the future- how soon will we create flying cars, and food that makes itself? But everyone knows the problem that the majority of our advancements contribute to. They say, "We have to fix this, for our children and our chidren's children and our children's children's children!" Then they hop in their gas guzzling cars to go to their eco conventions and protests, spewing out pollutants into the air. Few people really care.

I know it's not just me, but I feel like I'm being rewarded. Thank you, global warming.
