Two days from now, I shall wake up on a gym floor to people I barely know stampeeding around me to be the first ones in the bathroom or the first in line for bagels and cream cheese *icky* or muffins *even ickier* My hair will be a mess, and I will be so tired that I don't even want to move, or I CAN'T move becuase the floor was so hard I became stiff.
Happy sweet sixteen to me.
Yup, I will be in Oregon in some gym waiting to march in a showband competition on my birthday. No party, nothin'n
I was lucky enough, though, to have three very good friends who tried *keyword is tried, one didn't know it was a surprise and basiclly told me, lol* to throw me a surprise party.
It was the sweetest thing they could have done. I want to my friend Laura's house for a little birthday thing she wanted to do. I love Laura to death. She is severly physicly disabled, but manages to be able to swim almsot on a daily basis and goes almost everywhere in her wheelchair. She is also very intellegent, a lawyer in fact.
Anyways, when I got there, I talked with her for a bit, and then in came two of my best friends, Karen and another Laura. I was so happy, though I did already expect them to be coming due to Karen's slip. That is so like her though. So, even without a gaint birthday party or being able to do something fun on my sweet sixteen, I think this shall be the birthday I always remember.
