I tried to hide my ugly heart
I pulled the needle and the thread
I tried to close the things inside
I just ran and bled instead
I had found the darkest night
I held the sharpest knife
I tried but it just fell apart
I knew it wasn't right
I cringed at my illusion
I stared with deep despair
I laughed at my reflection
I cried when no one cared
I played with my lost hope
I skipped around the beat
I tried to listen dearly
I knew this I could keep
I dreamed a pointless dream
I drifted forever endlessly
I recalled how it felt again
I remember pulling at these seems
I gazed upon the shadows there
I lied just to believe
I undid all the chaotic ties
I unlocked the sinful things
