Facts about World Hunger.
1. Every 3.6 seconds someone dies of world hunger.
2. Worldwide, more than 1 billion people currently live below the internation poverty line, earning less than $1 per day.
3. 1.4 million die each year from lack of access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation.
4. The hunger hotspots are Niger, Darfur, Afganistan and Korea.
