A poem i wrote entitled my sun.

You are my sun,
Bright like the burning horizon.
Your smiles aren’t frequent,
But when I see them,
My heart melts like ice on a summer evening.
When we are walking,
With me trying to keep up;
I love it when your hand
Wraps around mine gentle as a child’s grip.

Though I wish you can be with me forever;
I know that one day we will part:
For I am the moon and you are my sun.
I would willingly give up my happiness,
If only it would keep you well.
For you are my sun.
