A Naruto Fanfiction
Chapter 1: The Two Ninjas Return
Two ninjas walked out of the forest heading towards the Village Hidden Beneath The Leaves. One of the ninjas stopped right before they both got to the gate. The ninja wasn’t very tall. She had long orange hair and on her right there was a seal. It wasn’t a very strong seal but it did the job it was supposed to do.
The other ninja walked up ahead of the orange haired teammate. The she stopped and turned around to look at her teammate. She had long black hair and was a bit taller than her teammate.
“Hey Yori, what are you doing?” The black haired ninja asked.
Yori: Nothing much Amaya. I’m just looking at this old gate. How long has it been since we’ve been here?
Amaya: I think about 5 years
Yori: That’s a long time
Something in the forest catches Amaya’s attention.
Amaya: Who’s out there? Show yourself!
Yori looked at Amaya with confusions. Since Yori was so tired from walking so much she didn’t even hear the bushes moving. But she knows that even when Amaya is tired she could hear better than anyone. So Yori went along with it.
Yori: Show yourself now!
For long moments nothing happened, but then after a little while, a blonde haired ninja walked out of the bushes. He was about the same height as Yori.
Then out of the blue someone yelled form the forest. “Naruto! You’re such an idiot. You’re not supposed to give away your position. Kakashi-sensei won’t be very happy”
Yori started to laugh at the Naruto and his teammate. The she stopped laughing and she walks over to Naruto. She smiles at him and the hits him across the head.
Yori: You’re such an idiot. Why would you show yourself to an enemy? And you up there. Why would you yell at your teammate? You kind of gave away yourself.
Yori looked around for a minute listening, waiting. She pointed to a tree.
Yori: I’m sorry buddy. You’re so good at hiding but since I picked out both of your teammates, I had to pick you out too. Sorry.
Yori began to smile at what she had just done.
Both of Naruto’s teammates showed themselves to Yori and Amaya. There was girl. She was the one that yelled at Naruto for showing himself to them. She had short pink hair and sea green eyes. The other ninja was a boy. He has short black hair and had a very unhappy look on his face.
Amaya: I’m sorry about Yori’s rudeness. Her bite is worse than her bark. Or is it the other was around?
Yori: I’ll bite you, you b***h!
Amaya: bring it on
Amaya turned to Yori and punched her right in the face. Which didn’t faze Yori. Yori grinned at Amaya. Amaya once again went at Yori to hit her but Yori caught Amaya’s fist and bit her arm.
Yori: See I told you I was going to bite you.
Amaya pulled away her arm and started to poke the bite marks.
Amaya: Wheee... this is fun.
Naruto and his teammates looks at each other with confused faces. After a minutes of poking the bite marks, Amaya punched Yori yet again but before Amaya’s hand got close to Yori’s face. Two huge dogs jumped both of them. “That’s enough you two.” One of the dogs growled. it wasn’t very big. Well actually, neither one of the two were very big. It looked like a wolf and the other one looked like a fox with six tails.
Amaya: What are you two doing? Jeez, can’t you leave me alone for once in my life Inu?
Yori sat down beside the fox.
Yori: You know Ace, your such a good girl.
Ace: You know that I wasn’t always this good.
Yori frowned at the thought of Ace in her old days. Yori stood up beside Amaya.
Yori: Are you ready to go inside already?
Amaya: I’m not going
Yori: fine, whatever
Yori turned and looked at Naruto and his teammates.
Yori: I totally forgot you guys were still standing there. Oh well, I might as well tell you our names. I’m Yori and grumpy over there is Amaya.
The pink haired ninja smiled at Yori. “ Well I’m Sakura and that’s Sasuke and well you already know Naruto.”
Yori: It’s nice to meet you three
Amaya looked at Sasuke. Then as fast as she looked at him was as fast as she looked away. She quietly says his name and then something in the bushes moved yet again. Sasuke, Yori, Amaya and Naruto grabbed their kunai, just incase of an attack.
“Take it easy you four. It’s just me” A figure walked out of the bushes with both his hands. He was tall and had short silver hair.
Sakura: Kakashi-sensei
Yori looked at him for a minute and then realized who he was.
Yori: Uncle Kakashi
Yori ran over and hugged him.
Kakashi: Hey Yor. It’s been a long time hasn’t it
Yori: Yup
Naruto: Kakashi-sensei is your uncle?
Yori looked at Naruto and smiled
Amaya: Yori, why are you telling these people about you? How do you know that we can trust them?
Yori: Because Kakashi is teaching them and no Kakashi isn’t my uncle. He was always making sure that I didn’t become trouble for the village. My real uncle is Iruka.
Naruto: Iruka-sensei is your uncle, for real?
Yori: I think he is... I’m not sure. I don’t think so. I think he’s more so a cousin.
Amaya sighs with the boring conversation that they are having.
Amaya: I’m leaving. This is so stupid. Later losers
Yori: Bye Amaya. I’ll call you on your cell later
Amaya waved on hand as she walked away. Before she got to the bushes, she fell over a twig.
Amaya: I meant to do that.
Yori: I’m sure. Anyways I’m going home.
Yori begins to walk away when Kakashi grabbed her by the collar.
Kakashi: Where do you think you’re going?
Yori: Home anyways, don’t you have other things to do?
Kakashi: what’s that?
Yori: Amaya went into the forest without Inu.
Kakashi: What? s**t I forgot about her. We need someone to go after her.
Sasuke: Fine I’ll go so I can go home.
Sasuke walked in the same direction Amaya left in.
Yori: Just follow the broken trees. Oh and be careful. Amaya is dangerous when she’s mad.
Sasuke: Meh, whatever. I don’t care.
Sasuke then ran after Amaya.
Kakashi/Yori/Inu/Ace: He’s dead
Sakura looked at the four of them with confused eyes. Just because she was the smartest girl out of all of them she still didn’t understand what they were talking about.
Sakura: what do you guys mean? Are you saying that Sasuke may die because he’s going to get Amaya. Is she dangerous?
Yori: When Amaya was forced to stop a fight all her rage has nowhere to go. So she’ll punch the closest thing until she’s back to normal. So in other words, Sasuke.
Yori looked down at Inu and Ace.
Yori: Inu, I know your scared of her when she’s like this, but go save Sasuke before she kills him.
Inu looked at Yori with loving eyes. Then he nodded. Making sure the he understood what to do. After that he ran off in a whirlwind.
Meanwhile with Amaya
Amaya: Ow! Damn trees keep getting into my way. God, I hate this village. I’ve never liked it here. Why did Yori make me come back. I didn’t want to. Whatever, I don’t care anymore. Hey Inu. I’m surprised that you haven’t told me to shut up yet.
Amaya turned around to notice that Inu wasn’t there. All the was behind her was a trail of fallen trees. She looked down at her arms. They were covered in blood from all the cuts she got from the trees. After a few minutes of looking at her arms, she realized that there was a sharp pain in her left leg. She looked down at her leg and noticed that there was a big white thing sticking out of her. It was a bone.
Amaya quickly sat down on the nearest log. She wasn’t quite sure what to do with it. The bleeding has stopped for the moment. If she would had taken one more step, her leg bone would pop out of where it was sitting.
Amaya looked around again. She knew that there wasn’t anyone around and she didn’t know how far into the forest she was.
Amaya: I wish Yori was here. She would know what to do with my leg. She would probably put it back into it’s place.
Amaya sat and thought about it. Realizing that when ever Yori puts bones back into place, it hurts like heck. Amaya shivered ast the thought.
Amaya: I’m kinda glad that she’s not here. If there was a lake near by or something I would be fine, but I guess that small bit of pain would be better than what it’s like right now. God it’s hurts and I have no idea what to do with it.
Amaya breathed a great big sigh and just sat were she was waiting, wondering what was going to happen next. Is anyone going to come and find me, ran through her head many times. It was so bad that she didn’t even notice someone walking down the trail of broken trees.
It was Sasuke. He was now walking instead of running. He knew that he was going to find Amaya. All he head to do was follow the trail of broken trees just like Yori said. He walked right up to Amaya. He looked over her. She was covered in cuts from the trees. Her hair was full of twigs and leaves and covered her face like it always does. Her leg started to bleed yet again.
Sasuke: So you finally decided to stop. Come on, let’s go. Get on my back
Amaya looked up at Sasuke. Hee hair moved a bit only showing small parts of her eyes.
Amaya: I wanted someone to find me, but not him I can take care of myself. I don’t need your help.
Sasuke: I don’t care if you want my help. You’re coming with him now.
Inu: You’re not going to get her to come back that way. I’m sorry Amaya.
Inu jumped right behind Amaya and knocked her out. Amaya fell over, but before she hit the ground, Sasuke caught her and threw Amaya on his back.
Inu: See isn’t that a whole lot easier.
Sasuke: sure, whatever. Let’s head back.
Both Sasuke and Inu ran back down the trail of broken trees.
Sasuke: Did Yori send you down here to save me?
Inu: Well yea and no. Yori told me to come down, but I’m Amaya bodyguard. I make sure she doesn’t get in too much trouble.
Sasuke: sure whatever, I don’t care.
Inu: Hey Sasuke, do you think Amaya is cute?
Sasuke looked over at Inu. He didn’t say a word for a few minutes. He was thinking what to say to Inu. Inu noted all of Sasuke’s expressions. He didn’t pester Sasuke for the answer, but he wanted to know.
Sasuke: I’m not going to tell you anything you damn dog. But... oh never mind.
Sasuke and Inu jump out of the bushes meeting Kakashi, Naruto, Sakura and Yori.
Yori: Oh my god you’re alive. Good job Inu and Sasuke.
Kakashi: good job to the both of you.
All of a sudden Yori started to ring.
Yori: hmm? Oh, my phone.
Yori pulled out her phone out of her pocket and looked to see who’s calling.
Yori: Oh s**t. Uncle Iruka is calling me. He’s going to kill me.
She flipped open her phone and pushed a button to answer it.
Yori: Um...Hi Iruka.
Iruka: YORI! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?
Yori pulled the phone away from her ear and sighed.
Yori: I’m outside of the village with Kakashi and his team. Oh and Amaya is very hurt. We’re taking her to the hospital to get her better. Since she broken her leg. We’ll meet you there okay
Iruka: Okay, I’ll meet you guys there.
Yori: Bye
She hangs up her phone and turned to Sasuke.
Yori: Sasuke, put her on the ground. Inu, Ace...hold her down, just incase.
Sasuke placed Amaya on the ground and Inu and Ace both held Amaya down. Yori walked over to the knocked out Amaya. She leaned down beside Amaya’s left leg and grabbed it.
Yori: Hey Sakura, have you ever watched someone put a bone back in place?
Sakura: Um...no, why?
Yori: I’m just warning you is all.
Sakura: of what?
Yori: this.
There was a huge cracking sound coming from Amaya’s leg. Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura watched and were disgusted.
Sakura: That’s so gross. I think I’m going to be sick.
Yori got the bone back into it’s proper place. Kakashi walked over and looked at Yori.
Kakashi: I’m guessing you taught yourself Yori.
Yori: yes I did.
Kakashi: good job. That’s one of the best jobs I’ve seen.
Yori: Thanks I guess. I think we should get Amaya to the hospital.
Kakashi: Good idea. Sasuke, pick her up and carry her to the hospital.
Sasuke gives Kakashi an evil stare.
Sasuke: whatever.
Sasuke leaned over and picked up Amaya. Amaya was sounds asleep. Yori was surprised that she didn’t wake or move when she put her bone back into it’s place.
Sasuke walks away with Amaya on his back. Inu walked on Sasuke’s left side. Yori smiled at the sight of Sasuke carrying Amaya on his back and Inu walking along with him. Yori leaned over to Sakura.
Yori: They would be so cute together, eh?
Sakura looked at Yori with a cold evil stare. Yori didn’t even notice the look Sakura gave her.
Yori: Well, I’m going for some food before I got to the hospital. Hey Naruto, want to come with me?
Naruto looked at Yori. This was the first time a girl has asked him to go out for dinner. While Naruto was thinking that, Yori was almost near the gate.
Naruto: Uh, sure...what! How did she get there already. I can’t believe she asked me to come with her for dinner. And man, she’s so hot
Yori: Naruto. I should have told you. I can read minds.
Kakashi began to laugh. Naruto began to blush and Sakura just stood there watching Yori walk away.
Naruto: Oh my god , that’s so cool. She can read minds and she also has a fox. I think Ace is a fox
Naruto watched Ace run by him to catch up with Yori and once he got close to Yori, he disappeared Into Yori’s right arm.
Naruto looked at Yori with a blank stare. Yori turned around and looked at Naruto.
Yori: Oh yah, I forgot to tell you. I’m just like you Naruto. I have a fox demon sealed inside of me just like you, Oh yah... are you coming or not?
Yori turned back around and started to walk away. Naruto laughed at the thought of having a friend that also has a demon sealed inside of them. He was so happy. He felt that someone actually understood him for the very first time.
Naruto: Hey Yori, wait up. I’m coming.
Kakashi and Sakura looked at each other. They said nothing, but they both just followed Sasuke to the hospital.
Chapter 2: Hospital Panic
Amaya woke up to see hundreds of girls standing around her. Each of them were yelling at each other about something. Amaya sat up in her hospital bed. She looked at all of the girls around her bed. Each of them said nothing and gave Amaya an evil look. Amaya wasn’t sure what was going on or why all of these girls are in her room or why they were giving her an evil look.
The door flew open and Yori stomped into Amaya’s room. All of the girls turned from Amaya and faced Yori , each giving the same cold stare.
Yori: What are all of you losers looking at and why are all of you here? You’re not welcome here. Get Out!
All of the girls gave Yori more of an evil look. One of the girls walked up tp Yori and said, “ What are you going to do about it if we don’t leave?”
Yori grinned at the thought of being talked back at.
Yori: Are you picking a fight with me?
Yori’s beautiful gold brown eyes turned a fine red. When some of the girls saw Yori’s eyes change colour, they quickly moved out of the room as fast as they could.
Yori looked at the girl that challenged her. She had blond hair tied back into a ponytail and was a bit taller than Yori.
The girl laughed at Yori. She started to walk past Yori, but she stopped right in front of her.
By this time, Yori’s eyes were back to normal. The girl put out her hand hoping that Yori would shake it.
The Girl: My name is Ino. I’m sorry for causing trouble for you, but your friend I don’t care but I’ll say I’m sorry for causing her trouble too, I guess.
Yori smiled.
Yori: My name is Yori and don’t worry about making trouble. I’m more worried about your safety.
Ino: Why?
Yori: Amaya over there will realize that she’s in a hospital soon and she’s tied down on the bed so she can’t leave. It’s a scary thought really, but I think you should go. It was nice to meet you.
Ino: It was nice to meet you too Yori but not that Amaya girl.
Ino walked out and at the same time Naruto and Sakura walked in with flowers for Amaya.
Yori walked over to Amaya to make sure she was alright. She looked up and looked at Sasuke who was sitting in the corner.
Yori: So why didn’t you do anything about all of those girl in here. They looked like they were going to kill Amaya or worse, mall her.
Sasuke: If they tried that, they would be all dead. I’m not going to let anything happen to Amaya, got that!
Amaya just sat there with a blank stare. She really didn’t catch what Sasuke said and it was a good thing too, cause she would have probably hurt herself trying to leave.
Yori: Yeah...alright. Just make sure none of those girls come back in here, got it?
Sasuke: Fine, whatever. I’m going to get something to eat.
Sasuke got out of his chair and left the room. As he walked past Sakura and Naruto, they both looked at Sasuke and didn’t say anything.
The nurse walked into the room. She walked up to Yori and smiled. The nurse checked Amaya’s leg and checked to see if Amaya had a fever.
Amaya tried to sit up but wasn’t able to, due to she was tied down. Amaya looked at Yori and then turned her attention to the nurse and gave her a dirty look.
Amaya: Miss, I’m feeling perfectly fine. Can I leave now?
Nurse: Nope, sorry sweety. You’ll be allowed to leave in a couple of days.
Amaya: Days! No way... I want to leave now!
Nurse: Nope sorry. Oh and you. Can you take your shirt off please?
The nurse looked directly at Yori. She wanted to see if she was alright cause the back of her shirt had fresh blood on it.
By this time, Sasuke was back and there were a couple other guys with him. One of the boys had a grey sweatshirt on with dark brown fur around the hood. Inside of his sweater was a little white dog.
The other had short black hair and had very bushy eyebrows. He wore a green body suit with leg warmers.
Yori looked at the nurse with confused eyes. Yori didn’t think the nurse knew that there were four boys in the room with them.
Yori: Um no. I’m not taking my shirt off with all of these guys in here.
The nurse turned from Yori and smiled at all of the boys.
Nurse: Can you boys leave for a few minutes. I need to have to check this young lady’s back.
Yori: Why do you have to look at my back? There’s nothing wrong with my back.
The nurse turned back to Yori and hit Yori so hard on her back, she fell down in pain.
Nurse: Oh, I think there’s something wrong. Tell me what happened.
Yori still on the ground in pain, looked up at the nurse.
Yori: Amaya and I were fighting some ninja and I got some kunai in my back. Amaya did too, but she healed them already.
The nurse turned around yet again to make sure the boys left. She gave all four boys an evil look. Three of them left, all but the one with the little white dog.
Nurse: Um son, can you leave so I can do my job.
They boy didn’t move. Sakura walked over to the boy.
Sakura: Kiba, can you get out of here! Go stand outside with Sasuke and the others. We’ll tell you when to come in.
Sakura pushed Kiba out of the room.
Sakura: There you go. All of the boys are out and the door is closed.
Yori took of her shirt and turned around so the nurse could see her back. There were little wholes in Yori’s back. Five of them right down her spine. The face the nurse gave Sakura and Amaya worry.
Amaya: Is Yori going to be alright?
Nurse: Yes, she’ll be fine, but we have to sew her back together.
Yori: What are you talking about! I’m fine, I just have to keep Ace in her seal for a while.
Nurse: Nope, that will take too long.
Yori put her shirt back on and stomped to the door. When she opened the door, she was about to walk out when someone stood in her way. A tall man with brown hair tied back into a ponytail.
Yori stopped at the sight of the man. She backed away from the door to let the man in.
Yori: Um...Uncle Iruka, what are you doing here?
Iruka turned and looked at Yori and smiled.
Iruka: You told me to be here, remember.
The nurse walked up to Iruka and smiled.
Nurse: Are you her guardian by any chance?
Iruka: Yah, I’m her god father. Well actually me parents were, since they’re not alive I have to take care of Yori here. Why do you ask?
Nurse: She needs some stitches in her back. So she’ll be here for a couple of days.
Amaya: She has to stay too. Haha, I’m glad now
Iruka: That’s okay. Have fun Yori.
Yori looked at Iruka with an evil look.
Yori: I hate you right now.
Iruka walks up to Yori and pats her on the head and smiled sweetly.
Iruka: I know you do.
Iruka turns around and walks right out the door and leaves the hospital.
Yori: Have fun he says.
The nurse smiled at Yori, then turned to Sakura.
Nurse: You can let the boys in now if you want. I’ll be right back. I’m going to get a doctor to look at your back.
The nurse leaves the room, in which lets the boys come back in.
Naruto: Took you long enough.
Amaya: This sucks... I’m still stuck on this DAMN bed!
Sasuke: Shut it Naruto, and Lee, don’t you dare say anything stupid.
Naruto and Lee looked at Sasuke with an evil look.
Kiba looked at the three boys and shook his head. Kiba knew that Rock Lee would say something stupid and Naruto would going to do something stupid.
Yori: I guess I have to get comfy.
She sat on the bed waiting for the doctor to come. She really didn’t want to be staying at the hospital.
Amaya: This is a waste of time. I’m leaving.
Amaya tried to get out of her bed, but she wasn’t able to untie any of the ties that kept her on her bed.
Amaya: What the hell! These damn nots won’t come undone. Who tied me down? I want to know!
Everyone looked at Amaya and started to laugh, all except for Sasuke. He kinda just giggle without smiling. They stopped laughing when Amaya gave them evil looks.
The doctor walked in and looked at all of the boys, then looked at Amaya who looked really pissed and then Yori. He smiled at Amaya trying to clam her down but she just turned away from him.
Doctor: I’m guess you’re Amaya and your Yori.
Yori: That’s right.
Doctor: Well my name is Hitori and I’ll be your doctor. Now Yori, can I look at your back for a minute?
Yori: Sure...I guess.
Yori turned around and lifted the back of her shirt to show the doctor her back. The front of her shirt was still covered so the guys didn’t see anything. Then Hitori looked at Yori’s back a few times.
Hitori: We have to operate on your back as soon as possible. I’m surprised you haven’t lost any of your nerves in your spine.
Yori: Your kidding. It’s not that bad...is it?
Hitori: Nope, it’s very serious. Boys, you have to leave and you too young lady.
Amaya: Me too!
Hitori: No
Amaya: Damn you!
Every one left Yori and Amaya in their room. They all walked down the hallway when Kiba stopped realizing that Akamaru was still in Yori’s and Amaya’s room.
Kiba: Hey guys, I have to go get Akamaru. He’s still in Yori’s and Amaya’s room.
Lee: We’ll see you later then. We’re going to get some ramen.
Kiba: See you guys there.
Everyone left Kiba standing in the hallway. He knew that the nurses were getting Yori ready for her operation. He turned around and started walking up tot he room.
Kiba: I can’t go in there right now. I might be in the way, but I have to get Akamaru. Okay, I’ll knock on the door and ask for Akamaru or I’ll just call his name. That’s it, I’ll do that
Kiba walked up to the door and knocked on it. He could hear voices inside saying something about how they were going to get Yori down stairs as fast as they can.
Kiba: It must be very serious. Poor Yori. I wish I could help her
The door opened. One of the nurses looked at Kiba and smiled.
Nurse: Are you the owner of that white dog?
The nurse opened the door a little more so Kiba can see Akamaru. Akamaru sat on Yori’s chest. Yori was sound asleep. Kiba walked up and looked at Yori.
Kiba: She looks so peaceful
Nurse: Thanks to your dog, we could get the IV in Yori’s arm.
Amaya: Yori’s scared of needles. Thanks to Akamaru, Yori didn’t stress herself out.
Kiba started to pet Akamaru on the head.
Kiba: Do you want me to leave Akamaru here?
Then Hitori walked into the room with a stretcher.
Nurse: You can stay here and wait. The operation won’t take very long...I hope.
Hitori: Ni it won’t. Excuse me son, I need to get the stretcher beside Yori’s bed. Can you also take your dog. And don’t worry, your girlfriend will be fine.
Kiba: She’s not my girlfriend.
Kiba blushes at the thought of being Yori’s boyfriend.
Hitori: Well by the look on your face I can tell you like her a lot. Don’t you?
Kiba: Well, um...
Kiba ignores what the doctor commented and picks up Akamaru off of Yori and out of the way of the doctor.
Hitori: Don’t worry...forget that I said anything. Thank you for moving your dog.
Hitori places the stretcher beside Yori’s bed. Some nurses helped Hitori move Yori on the stretcher and they pushed her out of the room to the operation room.
Amaya: There she goes... haha, sucker. She should have changed her shirt before she got to the hospital. They wouldn’t have noticed it. Oh well. So are you going to stay?
Kiba turned to Amaya and smiled. He put Akamaru on Amaya’s bed.
Kiba: I’m not sure. What do you think Akamaru. Do you want to wait for Yori to get out of the operation room?
Akamaru: Arf!
Akamaru sat beside Amaya wagging his tail. Amaya was able to get one hand free from the knots and started petting his head gently while wondering were her good friend Inu ran off to.
Kiba looked at the ground and looked around for a chair to sit in. He noticed the chair Sasuke was sitting in earlier. Kiba walked up and around Amaya’s bed and picked up the chair. Then he walked back tot he other side with the chair in hand.
Both Amaya and Kiba sat in the extremely silent room for a few minutes when the door opened. It was Hinata, Kiba’s teammate. She was carrying cherry blossoms for Amaya and some red and black roses for Yori.
Hinata: Where is Yori? I brought some roses and cherry blossoms for you Amaya.
Hinata walked over to Amaya and handed her the cherry blossoms. The she walked over to Yori’s side table and put the roses in a vase. Hinata turned around to Amaya and smiled. Amaya smiled back.
Amaya: You haven’t forgotten what our favourite flowers are. I’m glad to see you Hinata.
Hinata: Why would I forget what my best friends favourite things are.
Hinata looked over at Kiba.
Hinata: How come you’re here Kiba? I didn’t know that you knew Yori.
Kiba: Well, actually I came with Naruto and Rock Lee and I haven’t I left yet.
Amaya: Akamaru calmed Yori down when they were putting the IV in her arm. You know how Yori is with needles.
Hinata laughed at the thought of Yori stressing herself out over the needles, but Hinata knew that afterwards Yori would go right to sleep.
Hinata: Yes I know. So where is Yori?
Amaya: She’s in the operation room. Her back is badly cut.
Hinata: Oh really. I hope she feels better. Well I have to go. When Yori gets out of the operation room and wakes up, Kiba can you tell her I say hi please.
Kiba: Sure.
Amaya/Kiba: Bye Hinata.
Hinata: Bye guys.
Hinata left, leaving Amaya and Kiba alone yet again. Amaya looked at Kiba while petting Akamaru some more.
Amaya: So...
Kiba: So...
Amaya: I have a question for you.
Kiba: What is it?
Amaya: Do you like Yori?
Kiba looked away from Amaya. He was quiet for a moment. He was thinking what to tell Amaya.
Kiba: Well Amaya... I’m not sure. I just might, but this feeling I have when I’m around her is so weird. I’m not sure really.
Amaya: You totally love her..let’s talk about something else though.. I’m not very good with this kind of stuff.
The door opened again and in walked Hitori with Yori’s stretcher behind him. They put Yori back in her bed. Then Hitori looked at Amaya and Kiba.
Hitori: She’ll wake up pretty soon.
Hitori and the nurses left the room. Kiba picked up Akamaru and put him back on Yori’s bed. Akamaru walked on Yori and lied back down on her chest.
Amaya: But I was having fun petting Akamaru. Inu.. Where are you!
Kiba smiled again at the sight of Yori sleeping with Akamaru. Kiba turned around and looked at Amaya.
Kiba: I do like her Amaya, I really do.
Kiba and Amaya heard grumbling sounds coming from Yori’s bed. They looked over to Yori to see her sitting up in her bed rubbing her back.
Yori: How long have I been out?
She looked down at her lap and began to smile. There sat Akamaru all happy to see Yori alright.
Yori: Hey Akamaru. Did you wait for me?
Akamaru: Arf.
Yori: Your such a good dog.
Yori looked over to Amaya and Kiba. She was shocked to see Kiba sitting beside her bed. Yori didn’t know Kiba very well. He was the last person she would ever see sitting beside her while she was in a hospital bed. Yori blushes thinking about it more.
Yori: Hi Kiba. Did you wait for me too? ( (( telepathy)) Amaya Did he wait for me or was he just talking to you?)
Amaya: Oh nothing. It’s a secret.
Amaya leans over to Kiba and whispers in his ear; do you want her to know or not?
Kiba shook his head as a sign for no.
Yori: What are you talking about?
Amaya/Kiba: Nothing...nothing at all.
Yori: Whatever.
Yori rolled out of her bed and walked up to Kiba. Kiba wasn’t sure what Yori was up to, but Amaya did. Yori was going to use her charm on Kiba to find out what’s going on. Yori starts to talk to Kiba in a flirtatious voice.
Yori: So Kiba...can you tell me what you two are talking about.
Kiba blushes really hard and turns away from Yori.
Kiba: Nothing...really.
Amaya: There’s nothing going on Yori. Jeez, leave Kiba alone.
Yori: Fine whatever.
She looks at Kiba and apologizes. Yori then blushes realizing what she just did.
Yori: Well, I’m going home now.
Kiba: Why? You need to heal remember. You just got out of the operation room.
Yori: Kiba, take a good look at my back. Do you see any wounds?
Kiba looked at Yori’s back when she turned around and lifted her shirt to show him.
Yori: Do you see anything?
Kiba: No, I don’t.
Yori pulls her shirt back down and faces Kiba how is blushing yet again.
Yori: It’s because they’re healed. Thanks to the fox demon Ace.
Kiba: She heals you?
Amaya: As long as Ace is in her seal, right Yori.
Yori: Yes. Your right Amaya. Kiba can I ask you a question?
Kiba: Yes What’s she going to ask me? I hope she doesn’t ask me out
Kiba starts to blush some more at his thought.
Yori: Can you go outside so I can change into my clothes.
Kiba: Um... yeah, sure.
Yori: Can you wait for me?
Kiba: Um sure.. Come on Akamaru.
Akamaru: Arf.
Both Kiba and Akamaru leave the room so Yori could change into her actually clothes. Amaya uses her one free hand to try and untie the rest of the knots so she could leave the hospital.
Yori: So Amaya. Do you want out of here?
Amaya: YES! Please get me out of here.
Yori: Okay, I’ll take you to the lake tomorrow. Okay?
Amaya: I don’t want to sleep here...please don’t make me stay.
Yori: I need to get some sleep before I take you to the lake.
Amaya: Okay, fine. Hey, why did you ask Kiba to wait for you?
Yori: It’s night Amaya. You know I don’t like the dark.
Amaya: So you don’t wanna walk alone. You’re suck a baby.
Yori: Yeah, I know... It usually it doesn’t bug me, but for some reason it’s starting to bug me... It’s wired. Oh well , doesn’t matter. I’ll see you tomorrow morning bright and early.
Amaya sniffles acting all sad so Yori would feel bad.
Amaya: Bye...and please, don’t be late.
Yori: Bye Amaya.
Yori walked out of the room leaving Amaya by herself. Amaya looked around the quiet room. She wasn’t very happy with Yori leaving her in this quiet room. She felt quite alone like how she was before she met Yori. She didn’t like the feeling.
Amaya: it’s nice and all not having everyone in here, but it’s still kinda of creepy not having anyone here. Oh well, I’m sort of used to it. Might as well go to sleep.
Amaya closed her eyes and falls asleep.
Out side Amaya’s Room
Kiba: What are you doing Yori?
Yori: Making sure that Amaya is going to go to sleep.
Kiba: Ah, got yeah.
Yori laughs after Kiba remark.
Yori: Your funny Kiba and really really nice Oh yeah, I want to thank you for waiting for me while I was in the operation room.
By this time the are standing outside of the hospital and just standing there talking to each other.
Kiba: Hey, no problem, no problem at all.
Kiba rubs the back of his next and blushes at what he just said.
Yori: Are you blushing?
Kiba: Um.. No...why do you ask?
Yori: Your face is bright red, but it could be from the heat. It’s pretty hot out, even for night.
Kiba: Yeah it is I hope she’s not catching on to me
Yori: If only he knew that I can read minds. I won’ tell him now, but I will later...maybe Well Kiba, I’m going home. Bye.
Yori turns in the direction that she needs to go and runs home.
Kiba: Bye Gosh, she’s so cute
Kiba starts to walk home himself. On his way home, he notices that his sister is out walking around.
Kiba: Shoot, why is she out here... I hope she’s not looking for me. I might get past her without her even noticing me
Kiba continued walking, trying to keep his face looking the other way so his sister wouldn’t see him.
Kiba: Yes, she didn’t see me. Now all I have to go is get past my mom to get to my room
Kiba ran through the town as fast as he could. Running past all of the stores and shops, hoping that his mom wasn’t out shopping or worse, looking for him.
Akamaru looked up at Kiba. Kiba’s face was still bright red from talking with Yori and all of the running through the town.
Kiba finally stopped, breathing deeply. Kiba looked down at Akamaru who was in Kiba’s sweater. He then looked around to find somewhere to sit. He finally sat down on a bench. He took Akamaru out of his sweater and sat Akamaru down beside himself.
Kiba: Ah, finally. Man, that was a long run. Akamaru, are you trying to get me and Yori together? Cause if your not, then you must like Ace.
Kiba laughs at the fact that Akamaru could be trying to get him and Yori together.
Akamaru: Arf.
Kiba stood up and started to walk the rest of the way home. He stopped and turned to Akamaru, who was still sitting on the bench.
Kiba: Are you coming?
Akamaru: Arf!
Akamaru ran up to Kiba and they both walked home.
To Yori
Yori finally stopped running. She started to walk towards her house. The living room light was on and Yori knew that Kakashi was still up. She stopped half way down the driveway. She sat down on the grass nearby. The she lied down to look up at the stars.
Where Yori and Kakashi lived was just outside of the village. Their house wasn’t very big, but it was big enough for Yori and Kakashi to ignore each other.
Yori: What a beautiful night.
Ace: I bet you want to spend it with Kiba
Yori sighed and let Ace out of her seal. Ace lied down beside Yori lying her hand on Yori’s shoulder.
Yori: I don’t know what you’re talking about Ace.
Ace: Yes you do. You Like Kiba and I know it.
Yori: Yeah, so what...you like Akamaru.
Ace: Well, at least we’re on the same page.
A shadow appeared over Yori’s face.
Yori: Hey Kakashi.
Kakashi: Hey Yori. Are you coming in by any chance?
Yori: yes.
Yori stood up and faced Kakashi. Ace got up after her. The three of them walked into the house. Yori walked over to the living room light switch and turned off the light.
Yori: Kakashi, are you going to bed?
Kakashi: yes and so are you. It’s late Yori.
Yori: Yes, I know. I was just asking. Good night Kakashi.
Yori walks up the stairs to her room.
Kakashi: Night.
Kakashi walked to his room which is on the main floor and goes to sleep. Yori continued to walk to her room. Once she was finally in her room, she looked out the window to see all of Kakashi’s dogs sound asleep.
Yori: They’re so cute when they sleep.
Yori continued to watch the dogs when she decided to change. She changed into her pajamas and went to bed.
