Can't believe it's been so long since I was here! Last time I posted in this journal was October 2023, and now here we are in April 2025. Good thing I went through my old entries before posting, or I would have missed an offhand remark about postimage and not known how to do it anymore, lol. This is at least the third time I've seen that particular post and that's what's reminded me how to format an image for an entry.
This av was made to feature Cosmic Flabella Genesis (Flourishing Locks) and Graceful Hind of Avalon (Hind's Legs), in my eternal quest to make successful male builds out of items and poses which were obviously made with female av's in mind. Increasingly I'm finding the newer items being released on Gaia really just aren't compatible with male av's at all no matter what you do with them, so good thing I already have a deep well of older stuff to pick from or I really would be up a creek!
Other items are Enchanted Book (Enchanted Wand), Masquerade (Shadow Mascara), Twilight Spirit (Speckled Skin), Mystic King of Cards (Coat Cape), Cosmic Starlet (Sheer Tank), Scenic Tea Party (Luminous Night), Hero's Journey (Slim Face), Cold Toxic Desires (Abs with Tattoos), Yafehiel's Sanction (lovely smirk), Street Painter's Desire (stud belt), Fallout Pilferer, Tamed Twister, Astra: Pearl Photo Filter (still), and Whipped Mocha Kahvesi (eyes).
I'm not completely sold on the wand but this av desperately needed him to be holding SOMETHING; I would have much preferred a weapon, but nothing I have currently fits. Might circle back around someday.
Interestingly, this habit I've developed (/Gaia forced on me when they blew up the Arena) of keeping Journal entries to detail all of my avi builds may have saved my account! I lost access because I hadn't been on so long and had to actually file a ticket with the site to change my email and get my account back; I don't have access any longer to the original email, being as I made this account in 2006 and didn't even remember which email it was. When I was asked to prove the account was mine I initially was a little panicked because I didn't remember any specific trades or purchases, which is what they ask about because those are things that aren't public information, BUT I did have a whole folder of screenshots of avatars I've made because I had to screenshot them for my Journal! So I sent in a few of those with exhaustive descriptions of the builds and hey presto, I got my account back! No effort ever goes to waste in the end <3
