"Is she going to bed now?" I asked, watching Holly dissappear into one of the guest bedrooms.
"She's been up for about seventy-two hours straight with no sleep," Nissa replied. Tilting her head to the right and looking up at the ceiling through the corner of her eyes, she said, "That must be LeRoy."
"Le-who?" I asked.
"There's some old, frail guy tinted blue is at the door," Nogard said, looking out the front windows. Through the blue tint, it was obvious that he had tanned skin, brown hair & eyes, and wore brown and white.
"LeRoy," Nissa said. "Holly's guardian."
Walking over to the door, I muttered to myself, "Things are getting crowded...and it's going to be packed when Shal and the others come home."
Just as my hand touched the keypad--there were no doorknobs in my house--the door was ripped out of its sockets by the stranger on the porch. "WHERE IS SHE!?!"
My eyes flickering dangerously, I replied, "Who?"
Snarling, the man grabbed me by the front of my shirt and threw me aside as though I was no more than a rag doll. Throwing his head back, the man yelled, "HOLLY!"
From the guest room came a terrified scream. "LEROY!"
"Dragon," Nissa said, "four intruders just materilized into the guest bedroom."
Ignoring the fact that there was a stranger that forced his way into my home and threw me aside despite looking like he couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag, I led the chase after the man into the guest bedroom where Holly had went to crash. Ripping the door off its hinges, the man roared again and barrelled into the room with me, Nissa, and Nogard following closely behind.
