And we're back! This is strictly to help hold myself accountable and keep my thoughts straight!
I have been thinking about how a handful of years ago, i had huge motivation to work out and eat healthy and as a result, i lost a bit of weight! I would like to try this again. While talking with my mom, who agrees that i lost my drive, we figured out that by having workout equipment at home was a major factor. Strongly thinking about getting some piece of equipment for my small apartment to assist with this. It will allow me to hop on and exercise as often as i would like despite: the weather, feeling dread to get back into my car after driving home for an hour after work, lifting social anxiety of a gym and worrying about an outfit to wear. PLUS i would be able to use it as often as i'd like! For example: when i had my own treadmill, i would walk on it for up to 2 hours at a time (this was my main workout at the time and helped shred the weight!)
What is my why?? I would like to make sure that my motivation isn't strictly diet culture, we all know that won't last. I would like to make sure that my "why" is something that is long lasting to ensure that this is a change for the long run, not something that would cause me gain all the weight back instantly if i stop.
1) working out has been proven to help with depression. 2) working out helps with sleep improvement 3) sets short term goals which helps keep me focused in my personal life 4) i would like to have kids one day and as im getting older, want to make sure that when the time comes, ill be in good shape for it smile 5) i wanna get an arm tattoo and dont want this flabby flab to mess it up! 6) treat myself to a nice vacation when i hit "goal weight"...disney? xd
