Hear the echoes,
In the distance,
Almost clear,
They are,
Hear them screaming,
Holding their breath,
Waiting for there last,
Helplessly waiting,
For something better,
To come along,
Knowing that nothing else could go wrong,
Hear the echoes start to fade,
And I am left with an unbearable silence,
In shadow,
For eternity.
