His thoughts became physical when a bout of tears trickled from his tired eyes. These emotions were so foreign to him. It had been some time since Hirakiry had felt sadness. For years he had only felt anger. He had lived in the fury without arguing or fighting with it. He had been bound to it with self-forged chains and he had thrived in the anger. It had been so easy to remain angry at the world and he had felt invincible when anger had been his shield. But when Riley had easily knocked this shield down he was faced with emotions he had not felt for years. He was vulnerable and he had simply bowed down to the new sensations. It felt wonderful to laugh, to cry, to pout, and he had loved every moment of it. He allowed for himself to forget his anger and to set his eternal shield down so that he may be born again into a life free of anger. When his happiness was at its peak, anger returned and shattered any chance of that new life. He was destined to live a life of rage. Hirakiry lifted his shield and locked his chains, succumbing to the tempest.
