Lest mind to burn,
Lost time to turn,
Unready to face,
Long lost to fate,
Lonely and longing,
Automaton not belonging,

Gears chipping,
Bearings failing,
Heart left slowly winding down,

The second hand unwinds,
Clockwork begins to fail
Whats left to decay still?

Space between a blink and a tear,
So quickly we end with nothing to fear,

The end is only another beginning,
Granted a beginning without a true ending,

Eternity awaits.
