"Ever wonder what's outside of these walls?" A boy, about fifteen, sat on a metal railing, looking at the concrete walls. "I mean, we haven't been out there once..." He had jet black hair and dark eyes. Someone else was there, another boy with grey-white hair about sixteen. "I mean, come on! They don't let us out once!"
"Get over yourself, Diego." The grey-haired boy said. He was pounding in some numbers into a computer. "We're never getting out, you know that. We were born here, and we're dieing here." He looked at the screen before he returned to typing in numbers.
"Yeah right! I'll find a way out, just watch. And I'll take you and Mia with us!" Diego smiled and looked down into the dark depths of the building. "What could the be hiding out there?"
Many things. The world has been devestated. Great towers have been created and around these towers, the ground is barren. Even in the towns around them. Railroads connect the towns and towers and no one has ever set foot outside of the ten foot iron walls of the towns. And rumors even say that strange things happened in the forests on the edge of the barren areas...very strange things...
