A Week of Milestones

The past two weeks seem to have gone by so very quickly. I had a mass mailing to do, slideshows to fix, and vinyl to prep. But we also had a few very special things come up during this time.

June 8th we celebrated the birth of our daughter. We had a small party with friends and our baby girl got to smash her very first cake while Frozen was playing in the living room.

Wow.

She's really one years old now.

It's kind of hard to believe.

Then my husband mentioned something else.

He had been on vacation last week (the week leading up to her birthday) which was the very same week he had off last year. The only difference was then we had been waiting an entire week in the hospital for our little one to finally show up.

Now it was her first birthday.
