Hikari held her breath, waiting for Sora’s response. Sora cocked his head to the side,”Well, you’re my best friend ever!!” He said excited. Hikari’s eyebrow twitched a bit.
“Ah..” ‘I should have known he would have said that…it’s Sora..’
“Did I say something wrong?” Sora asked sadly. He wasn’t sure what Hikari was thinking but judging by her facial expressions. She looked upset.
“Yeah..I’m okay..”
“What’s all this about?” Sora said looking into Hikari’s eyes with concern.”You know I like you!! Nothing is ever going to change that.” The blond girl smiled slowly.
“I know..” She quietly said. She began to start walking ahead of Sora. Sora was still concern over Hikari. He wanted to know what made her ask that question.
“Why did you ask me that?” Hikari bit her lip and turned the other way.”Hikari?” Sora asked. Why should she even tell him his true feelings if he didn’t feel the same way. Riku, Kirua, Wakka and the others say it’s obvious that Sora likes her…but Hikari could never tell.
“Well..Sora the reason why I asked is…because..” Hikari caught herself when she saw Kairi at the dock untying her boat.
“Oh, Kairi!!” Sora immediately cried. Hikari suddenly froze up when Kairi’s face lit up once she saw Sora. Sora and Hikari walked closer to the princess who was smiling just because of the sight of Sora.
“Hi, Sora!!” Kairi cried.
“The three of us can all go to the islands together!!”
“Hmm..” Kairi looked at Hikari. She didn’t feel a bit comfortable going with Hikari.”I’ll catch up with you guys..I have to make sure I didn’t leave anything home.”
“You sure, Kairi?” Kairi stood up and nodded at her longtime crush.
“I’ll see the two of you on the islands in a few.” She walked back to her house.
“Huh..well what did you want to tell me, Hikari?”
“The reason why I wanted to ask you is because…well..because…nevermind.”
“What?!”
“Nevermind.” Hikari faked smiled. She stuck her tongue out at Sora who just had confusion written all over his face. Hikari quickly jumped into her boat and untied it. She began to paddle away.”I’ll beat you there Sora!!”
“Wha…Wait a minute..!” Sora cried jumping in after her. Hikari laughed at Sora’s confused attitude.
“Tch..what was I thinking?” Hikari whispered to herself.

Riku and Kirua looked over to see Sora and Hikari getting out of there boats and walking on the shoreline. Riku was the first to greet them and then Kirua."Nice to see you two finally show up, where's Kairi?" Riku asked.
"She's coming, she had to head back to get something."
"Oh."
"Yeah! What are you two doing?" Sora asked. Kirua looked at the corner of her eye to see what Riku would say.
"Nothing, really. We were doing absolutely nothing."
"..." Kirua looked at the ground and then at Hikari and Sora.
"What do you guys want to do while we wait for Kairi?"
“I don’t know …hmm.” Sora put his finger on his chin.“We should play a game.”
“A game?” Riku asked.
“What kind of game?” Kirua asked curious. She loved games even though she was the second oldest. She had a mind of a little kid.
“Let’s play Stay away from the Heartless.”
“What?!” Hikari and Riku asked.
“It’s like tag in a way and hide and seek. Whoever is “IT”..has to be the heartless..they have to find the person and try and “Tag” them if they do, that person is also a heartless. Only one person survives, if he or she can go to home base before they are tag they win.” Sora grinned. There was silence expect for the ocean waves going back and forth and the sound of an annoying bird.
“Did..you just make that up?” The taller boy asked.
“Cool, huh?” Sora smiled.
“No.”
“How about we make this interesting?” Kirua smirked.
“Why..?” Hikari asked facepalming.
“Makes the game more fun.”
“How about we do teams?” Hikari asked.
“Whyyyy..?” Kirua whined.
“Because it’s more fun.” She mimicked..
“Okay, boys vs girls..I think that’s a fair odd.” Riku suggested.
“That’s fine with me!” Kirua said crossing her arms.
“Huh?!” Sora and Hikari both said at the same time. The two glanced at each other with confusion.
“The home base is the usual..the other side touching the star tree.”
“Whose going to be it?” Sora asked.
“It’s your idea..isn’t it?” Riku asked calmly.
“WAIT..W-Wait a minute!!”
“How does this work? If Sora’s “It?” Does that mean you work with him…? He said that whoever is “It” can make the other person a “heartless.”
“Yeahhh….not playing no more.” Hikari said shaking her head and walking away.
“Wait, why?!” Sora asked walking after her.
“Because no offense but this makes no sense what so ever.”
“Nooo, it makes perfect sense…!”
“I’m with Hikari on this one.” Riku said raising his hand.
“What you too?!”
“Yes, you always make dumb games.” Riku said bluntly. Sora glared at Riku and pouted.
“No!!!” He yelled, in Riku’s face who was just smirking. He just loved annoying Sora so much. Hikari blew a breath and face palmed with a small smile.
“Here we go again..”

-_______- Kirua and Hikari stared while the two boys were sparring it off with their keyblades.”Every time man..”
“I’m surprised you’re not use to it..”
“I don’t know either..” Hikari rubbed her cheek. Sora jumped out of Riku’s way once he swung his keyblade.
“You still have the same moves, Sora!” Riku yelled. Sora glared some more at Riku taunting him. Sora ran towards Riku and swung his keyblade at Riku. Riku automatically blocked his attack. The sound of the two keyblades clashing together was heard.
“Well..this is entertaining..” Kirua said bored. Her and her sister were watching from the sidelines. Kirua looked to see Kairi walking over to them.
“Oh, Kairi.” Kirua said.
“Kairi?” Sora asked losing his focus on the fight. Sora looked over to see Kairi smiling at him. Riku took this chance and swung at Sora who had lowered his weapon.
“Lost focus!!!” Riku yelled.
“Daahhhh!!!” Sora screamed his death cry.(LOL) Sora fell backwards on the ground and grunted. Kairi put her hands on her hip along with Hikari, staring at Riku. All Riku could do was make an innocent gesture.
“Are you okay, Sora?” Kairi asked. Sora slowly got up and nodded at her.
“Y-Yeah…Riku just took a cheap shot at me.” Riku rolled his eyes.
“If that’s what you think.”
Kairi helped Sora up.”I’m glad you are okay.” Kairi said.
“T-Thanks, Kairi.” Sora said. Hikari made an angry face and glared at the two. Kirua could sense her emotion growing strongly. She wondered if this was because of their sister bond.
“Let’s all look at the sunset you guys.” Kirua suggested.
“Okay!!” Sora said happily.

The group of friends were sitting at the smaller island. "I hope we stay like this forever." Kairi said.
"Don't jinix it -_-." Hikari said with a blank face.
"Don't worry we're going to be together like this for a long time." Sora smiled, swinging his legs back and forth on the bended tree.
Riku smirked at Sora and closed his eyes."We'll time for me to be heading home."
"What so earlier?!" Sora whined with a sad face.
"We'll I have to get home and I have stuff I gotta do." Riku got up and began to walk around the tree.
"What kind of stuff?" Kirua asked curious.
"Wouldn't you like to know?"
Kirua growled at Riku who walked on the bridge, he put his hand up bye."Wait! Riku, what do you want for your birthdayyyyy?!" Sora yelled.
"What I want is something that I already have." Riku said calmly.
"What..?" Sora whispered. Riku was now walking on the shoreline on his way home. Sora crossed his arms for a few seconds to think about what Sora meant."What...Wait..what? What does that mean? Does that mean you have what you wanted already?" Sora asked. "Rikkkkkkkkkkkkkkuuuu, wait up!!" Sora yelled. Sora jumped off the bridge and ran after his best friend."Rikkkuuuu!!"
Kirua, Kairi and Hikari shrugged their shoulders at each other confused.

The next day, Hikari was already up..Hikari went into Kirua's room to see her in her bed."Get up!" Hikari yelled.
"........Are you mad?" Kirua muttered.
"Someone's grumpy."
"Well..I did not get ANY sleep last night...plus I'm not a morning person at all."
"I'm not a morning person either..but you seem more grumpier than usual..."
Kirua sighed and sat up, she didn't care if her hair was messed up at this point. She looked like a zombie. Hikari was already in her regular outfit."Why are you up so early?"
"It's not technically early..and plus I'm going to school with Sora for something and then we are going to the islands."
"Ah."
"You coming?"
"No..don't really feel like it." Kirua muttered under her breath. She rubbed her long hair and wiped her eyes. Hikari cocked her head with concern.
"Are you okay?"
"Meh..I don't know." She shuggered her shoulders."Lately, I've been sensing negative energy around me.."
"Could it be the darkness?"
"It's a possibility."
"You seem calm about this."
"I guess..." Kirua said, lost in thought. "Anyway..you should hurry to go see Sora."
"Kirua..." Hikari wondered what Kirua was trying to hide from her. It was kind of pointless since the two of them had a special bond. It was difficult to hide something from another..regardless Hikari would find out what Kirua was hiding from her.
"What? I'm fine..I say." Kirua glared.
"Okay, okay..stop giving me that look...UGH." Hikari sighed. Hikari walked out of Kirua's room. Kirua decided to walk after her down the stairs to the front door. Hikari got her small bag that was hanging from a door knob connected to the closet on the side.
"Have fun on your date with Sora."
"It's not a date!!" Hikari bursted out with rage. Turning incredibly red. Kirua took a few steps back and put her hands up for defense.
"Okay..Calm down....and that's what they call one girl and one boy hanging out with each other."
"First of all, Riku is going as well!!"
"Oh."
"Hmph. I'm sure he will miss you!"
"What?! No, HE WOULDN'T!!"
Hikari rolled her eyes and shook her head."You know it's so obvious."
"What?!"
"Oh, nothing." Hikari giggled."I swear you two complete each other."
Kirua's eye twitch."What in the world are you talking about?!" Hikari made the emotion_awesome face.
"Nothinnnnnnnnnnnnnnng." She sang."I'll be going now, hope to see you later..if not then maybe when I get home. Bye Bye!!!" She rushed out of the door, leaving a dumbstruck Kirua who was staring at the spot that Hikari had left.

-Destiny Islands Plays-
Sora was playing with his baggy black pants waiting boredly for Hikari and Kirua. Riku was with him as well. The two boys were infront of Sora's house close by to the school."I wonder what Kairi's doing." Sora said.
"She's with Selphie doing...girl stuff."
"I didn't know that."
"She said it..but you were to busy staring off into space as always."
"Hmm, I've been having some dreams lately as all."
"About Kairi and Hikari?" Riku asked before walking past him.
"WHAT?! I'M SERIOUS!!" Sora yelled.
"Okay."
"No..it's just I keep getting this feeling that someone else is with me..besides Roxas."
"Hm...I mean you said before that your heart is connected with those around you."
"No, it's not like that...I've felt this ever since we were kids...like someone has always been there with me..it's hard to explain..but remember before Hikari and Kirua showed up to the islands...I told you about someone who needs help." Riku crossed his arms and thought to himself."I think so..yeah."
"Huh.." Sora said to himself thinking again."I'm sure I'm just overthinking this."
"....Hmm...I don't know..." Riku said.
"HIii, guys!!" A voice yelled with excitement. The two boys looked straight up to see Hikari power walking towards them.
"Took you long enough..,worse than Sora." Riku muttered. -__-
"Riku! Shut up." Hikari growled. Riku put his arms down and realized Kirua wasn't there.
"Where's Kirua?"
"Awww." Hikari whispered."She's at home..she said she wasn't feeling all that great."
"Oh..." Riku said.
"Go on and check on her."
"For what? I'm not her father."
"No..but you are her boy..." Hikari paused and laughed to herself."Anyway, Sora let's start heading back to the school." Hikari was glad to see that Kairi wasn't there. She could finally have some alone time with Sora. Riku put his hand on his forehead and let out a big breath.
"I'll catch up with you guys for second..I have to go take care of something."
"Ohh really?" Hikari grinned. Riku rolled his eyes and walked away.
"I wonder what suddenly came up...." Sora said to himself walking with Hikari. Hikari stared at Sora and suddenly face palmed. emotion_sweatdrop

Kirua came out of the shower and dryed herself off and put on her regular clothes. She muttered to herself."Ugh, That Hikari, always have something to say." She slammed the bathroom door hard and crossed her arms. She brushed her long silver hair while looking in the mirror for a bit. For a second while staring into the mirror."......." She sighed and blew her bang. She suddenly heard a noise coming form her closet, she turned back and paused getting up from her seat.
-Strange Whispers Play-
"Am I HEARING things..?" She asked outloud. She slowly walked towards the closet and stopped when the door slowly opened."..............It's the wind..yes.." She said to herself. "Why..am I scared...? Nope..I'm not." Kirua said to herself. She always had a habit of talking to herself. She moved in slowly towards the closet. She saw colored eyes staring at her."I warn you..whatever you are..I have a keyblade..." Kirua called her keyblade and pointed at the opened closet door.
"I want to be your soul..." A dark voice said within the shadows.
".............." Kirua gasped a bit and shook, when suddenly a young female around her age jumped from the closet and hugged her happily.
"...........Kira.." Kirua's eyebrow twitched.
