Nations==============================================
While there are more factions than this, these are the only ones that are actual nations, or, are special cases that needed to be listed.
The Kingdom of Ostera: A relatively young Nation, ruled by a Humar by the name of King Uriel Ostera II, it is the strongest faction of Humar and Dorn known on the continent. They hail from the north, seeking glory and land. While happy in their Icy climate, they wanted to expand into Calravia to better accommodate their population.
This is where they met the Empire of Lykia, who had similar plans for the then unclaimed land. While considerably weaker, they are able to hold their own against the superpower. Even now, with the threat of the Violet Tide, they continue to fight with the empire over land. What choice do they have? They need it to support their people.
If you were to summarize their culture, it would be closer to a mixture of the Nordic regions of northern Europe.
Ranks:Ostera isn't as tightly structured as the empire, but that doesn't mean it is complete anarchy.

Militaristic and zealously devoted to the Sun King, they have reigned in the remaining independent clans, and have since then grew to a considerable size. While their first Emperor originally was a clan-leader elected by his peers. The dynasty was ended by their current ruler, a female Ein Paladin named Pyrastra, who, in a shocking turn of events, successfully completed the trials, and slew the previous Emperor in honorable combat. She is known as the Dragon Empress, due to her claim of being of Helgius' bloodline.
Seeing that eventually, their population would grow to a size beyond that which Lykia could support, they set their sights on reclaiming Calravia, their ancient homeland across the desert. This is where they met the Kingdom of Ostera, and have been battling them ever since. Thanks to the treaty, the war has trickled to but a few small border-skirmishes between renegades not wanting the war to end, but should it ever erupt into all-out war again, the Empire is devoted to reclaiming their ancestral grounds.
Despite their brutish appearance, they are closer to British society than anything else, all the way down to the red coats it's officers (both naval and army), and marksmen wear. Though they lean a little towards the Ancient Roman empire with certain things, like military structure, and armor/weapon design.

Order of the Sun: Founded posthumously by the ancient Lykran Hero, Helgius, this collection of Holy-Magic wielders and Pyromancers are dedicated to the Sun King, and the Dragon myths of old, more specifically, Pyrothos. They accept any, even those who don't practice either school of magic, into their ranks that believe like they do, and while its members typically brash, hard-headed, and fiercely protective, they try to work for the greater good.
If you practice holy magic, or are deeply into pyromancy, you most likely belong to the Order. Be it for religious beliefs, resources, or simply because you have nowhere to go, you are welcome. PRAISE THE SUN!
It is led by a chosen Highlord, as well as a member from each branch of the order. A Grand Cleric, Grand Crusader (Paladin), Grand Firelord (Pyromancer), and an Archbishop (Priest), respectively.
Arcanum Enclave: A Velkothian organization dedicated to discovering the mysteries of Magic, Mana, History, and the Universe, as well as defending the planet from the other two nations and their childish squabbling. Typically, it is a primarily Velkothian faction, but they welcome anyone as interested in the pursuit of knowledge as they are into the fold.
It also serves as a place to learn a chosen school of magic, and how to better control the flow of one's mana, as well as how to responsibly use these powers for the benefit of both self, and others.
Ranks are only discernible by the exclusive robes they wear, which tell of their rank. From left to right, Brown, Green, Blue, Red, Black, Gray, and White. While an elected council of the eldest grays convene to decide their race's course in life, there is one Chancellor, wearing the white robe, whose word is usually final.
The current Chancellor is a Velkoth by the name of Archimedes, a master-level mage who is a brilliant scholar, that has come up with many revolutionary devices, such as staves infused with specific elements, used to amplify one's powers.
